well I am partly to blame because I am a savewhore, but the shit that passes today 4 years ago wouldn't get past the .5 mark. Even with me voting zero it wont have that much affect, nevertheless we need more blammers. Errum voting accurately and not being afraid to blam somebodys' hardwork.

A mighty fine week looking at it. Only going on the portal 1-2 times on the weekdays and 3 or more on the weekends I have managed to increase the gap between the 2 active users below and decrease for the 3 above. laul.

I'm going to repropose this: If anyone sees a submission that is clearly in needing of getting blammed, I do not mind any of you bringing them up to me whenever (providing you see me online on the BBS). I was happy to help out with flagging submissions but now... you know what happened to that.

Ever since dropping the top gainers list, I have archived all of what I could have posted on the updates and could provide who's been consistently topping them and question their voting habits. They could actually be all clean with what they vote on, though. As for the judgment score, it's been suggested for years now to raise the blam threshold. Who knows, maybe they'll change things around once the portal mods are finally introduced. Well, that's when they do get to implementing the mod tools on the site. I have no idea at this time.

I recall this thread from 2010 about a user whining about cookie cutter accounts and here it is 2 years later and they have multiplied to produce more shitty girl games almost every day. However, if I remember correctly there was another thread complaining about them that year where Wade posted in it saying he removed the one account and sent the other a PM about having two accounts to bypass the two per day rule. Looks like the user/bot didn't give a shit and went on later to make more accounts just to continue doing that.

Kind of like what one reviewer wrote on that one entry that got removed for being stolen a couple of days ago, "if you don't know what stolen means then don't bother uploading". Sad part is I think VadimGoD's work gets uploaded a little too often (maybe 2-3 a month) by users thinking that its ok. That or don't realize VadimGoD is a user here.

Has Tom, or anybody else, actually said that voting power had no effect? I thought that, like the deposit message, it just wasn't displaying the message.

iscrulz admitted it further up the page. I'd say that there are those guilty, who are in the top 10 and those who have designs on the top 50 users, who are just as guilty.

No, this is intuition. In the few weeks after the redesign, before the Voting Power got sorted out, I was able to make an average of 10 Blams per day. Since then, I have had a week, only making 21 Blams to my knowledge. I run a spreadsheet, to track my stats, so I can show the gains quite easily.

The fact that this represents pre-redesign levels, or worse, shows that there are users out there with high Voting Power, who clearly don't deserve it, as they abuse it.

It wasn't long after the VP was corrected, that the display of the experience (and deposit) was shown. Yes, the VP bonus works, to my knowledge, but it is not displayed.

You all suck as portal voters and do not deserve the B/P list anymore.

Could it be this week? Perhaps, as I took 62 out of Ehwaz' lead and that leaves me with only 55 to go! Lets see if I can make up some more ground on him overnight, to make this as fast a pass as possible.

On the current pace, 8.9 per day, that works out at 6.1 days, so I won't pass him by my Birthday :( I'll have to do something about that, if at all possible.

Takes a little longer when you hit the 0 button on submissions that shouldn't pass or just look terrible overall and then they still pass. Good example being some stolen flash that pass through despite the stolen and deletion tags. :(

Yea I can see the point of that anyways. I can get around 30+ blams a week which isn't too bad for me. I have a long way to go before reaching the top blammers list sadly.

Oh hey I have to inform you a been voting fairly now, or not. It depends I didn't see that much difference just got a few more blams perhaps it was because there was really terrible submissions, Overall lots of decent flash is submitted so I vote to save them. The general UJ voters are real lenient plus I want more protection points so I go with the flow. Tis better to have a bad submission passed than a good submission blammed. False Wade will delete the crappy, abusive submissions and the author will resubmit their work.

Proof that the people don't read and vote blindly for save points. When I saw this I looked and saw the tags stolen and deletion, but did people vote for it to get blammed? No they blindly voted for it to be saved because it was family guy porn. It makes me wish the users still had their whistle to blow on flash instead of just reviews. I mean the Genre mods could have labeled them as stolen, and if the users reads it they can blow the whistle on it getting it marked to get deleted. I think it is more than likely younger users not giving a shit if it is stolen or not and simply passing it through the portal so they can watch it again later. As soon as you begin watching there is some white text at the bottom showing it was made by another user here on Newgrounds. Kind of sad how even though things get marked as stolen and put up for deletion that people will vote them through anyways.
