I got 100 this week, it's better then the weeks past since my b/p return. It's slowly getting up there i just need to pull about 200 this week and i will pass some people and filnally gain some ranks on this list that i call home. I managed to thwart off Cooper for one more week, Thank you Luis for the Gay London Meet Up. This week I should do much better I am planning on sitting all day on the computer for CLock Day but I will probably be forced to do something that eats up my day. 1k from the 29th or 30th rank now maybe I will surpass it on CD 09.

Yay +1. Not bad total wise. I've spent a lot of 12 hour work days and a lot of time with family and friends this week. I'm surprised that I even managed that much. 100 a week sounds like a good pace from here out while I'm at college too because I won't have much reason to B/P that much anymore as I'll be Supreme Commander by then.

Shit week this week, I was gone for a few days and naturally my pace suffered. On the plus side I should be around for CD09 and will make a good move up the list. Thanks for the update Bahamut.

I got about 900 protect points last Clock Day. I'm hoping to break that. I booked some time off work so I can really go for it (sad I know, but I never do holidays anyway and I got to take holiday leave still)!

The last two Clock Days I was going to plan on taking the day off but it turns out I didn't have to because its a Caturday and I haven't worked on the weekend in 3.75 years. Plus other reasons.

You do realize 100 a week is good to some people.. maybe you're too used to the HUGE numbers to realize that anymore. I used to think the same thing until it hit me aswell, I can't even break 100 hardly anymore and I still try my best, many other people before me had the same thing, Afro, NEVR, the list goes on.

The basis of the many drawbacks to posting in thread is the limits of html they let us use here, and the lack of space to insert image codes for the flashy flashy stars I made was the least of the problems.

In any case, yes, 1k/week was the break point I selected for the stars. They were not common which made them more special to have obtained ... at least until Bob became unemployed for a short period and started getting them every week. Even when several people were earning them in a week, it was still a relatively uncommon event, and those were during periods when 1500+ submissions a week were coming in.

As this is your list now, set the star pace at whatever level you want. My main advice on it is to continue to make it difficult to obtain. That keeps it in the spirit in which it was originally intended ... and star pace is simply something else you will need to track. One option I toyed with but never implemented was making it a percentage relative to the total submissions in between updates. Simply note the PID of the most recent submission at the time of one post and subtract it from the PID of the most recent when you start gathering the stats for the next, with your selected percentage then dictating how points they needed to have earned to obtain the star.

You're right I am to used to it. Since I started bping I don't think I've gotten less then 300 a week, maybe more then that. I'm not sure. And yes I hope too that I get my priorities straight sometime.

I know what you mean, i will be able to be on most of the night...like i normaly am. Then in the morning i am going to church at 9 and will be there about a hour, then with the family for coffee and other things. So far I haven´t seen anything spectacular from clockday yet. But it seems like there are whole lot of people out there voting at the moment. Stuff stays under judgement for a very short time.

I did get about 30 saves or so in my first 45 minutes, which is not too bad I guess.

Somehow I always manage to collect one or two.

But this might be your lucky year than Coop. I´ve rarely ever seen a clock day with so many unhighlighted submissions in the portal. Plus 32 submissions have been blammed/deleted already.

I've never got a blam point on clock day neither. And I don't think I will this year. Only got 63 saves so far, in nearly 3 hours. Quite disappointing. :/
So, I just continue to vote 2 (or higher if the flash is good) on flashes to rack up as many points as possible.

I voted 0 on two flashes today, but both passed. Bad luck. :/

Ah, thanks for visiting the thread once again. :) As for the star pace, 100/day is looking very hard to obtain for anyone so it's a reasonable level, although it's obviously much easier this week.

I've succeeded in blamming on Clock Day before, most especially in Clock Day 2005 and 2006. I can't remember how many blams I got in 2005, but I at least got 10 in 2006 which is good for Clock Day. Some of you need to blam harder. ;)

You know I'm not much of a stat whore these days when I didn't gain a single B/P the week Clock Day was on. With only 2 saves short from retirement and not making anything else until I finish my 100th flash (whenever I actually get that done), I was willing to sit out this year and be with my friends for most of yesterday. :) However, I hope the rest who were in the portal yesterday had a lot of fun even though the amount of submissions wasn't as high as the last few years.

Also, any high EXP users will be happy to know that the 16th EXP update was posted today. :)
