I'd vote for the star pace to be lowered. I don't think I've even seen a star pacer since last clock day. And 100 B/P per day sounds like a good pace to lower it to.

Sounds like a good idea to me. No point in setting the bar so high if nobody has been able to reach it for years. 100 a day seems fine to me. You see that number passing by every now and again.

While I agree that Star-Pacer is just about mathematically impossible, I think you might want consider a new section called "Voting Masters". This new section would highlight any / all users that had an overall average of 90 points a day or more. In addition, you could stratify this into levels:

90 to 99.99 / day : Marksman
100 to 109.99 / day : Dead-Eye
110 to 119.99 / day : Sniper
120+ / day : Master Sniper.

For example:
Voting Masters:
harryjarry: 103.3 - Dead Eye
Gagsy: 111.1 - Sniper

This was an idea based on different levels of accuracy, along with the potential for someone who would sleep 4 hours a day, spend the rest on Newgrounds, and be damn good at picking off the blams and saves.

Hey, just an idea. Maybe you'll use it - or get inspired by it...what do you think?

100 a day sounds good to me. It's still very hard to achieve, but it is at least possible.

As predicted. thisisasignin will take me at least two more weeks, but propably more. Quite a good pace for me, but somehow I doubt I can keep it up now that I don't have to sit in front of the computer the whole day to study for examns anymore. Plus, the weather is finally going to get better.

Just had a fight with Donovan Jackson, it was ugly but here's what happened...

Several hours ago after trying to get answers from you guys on whether the difficulty enhancing drugs I found in his basement is illegal or not (some help you are), I decide to play FUI3 that was almost finished. You can't imagine how impossible this game was, it took me several hours to finally kill one bad guy, it took me hundreds of tries to do so. There's no plot in this game, what happen is that your character resembles Barry Bonds with a beretta and you have to kill the feds armed with supernatural powers.

"This is ridiculous" I said

With that, I decided that this game will not see the light of day so I deleted it. Sometime later which is half an hour ago, that's what I realize I should've been paying attention as Donovan Jackson a.k.a. Dizmiz burst into the room.

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my house?" he yelled

Then he push me away on his way to his computer and screams "My work of art!"

Then he picks up a set of disks before walking toward me. I ran downstairs to the living room and from the stairs he start throwing CDs at me, I was able to dodge them all. Afterwards I picked up one of the CDs he thrown and waited until he gets off the stairs.

"You're gonna pay for what you've done to my game!" he yelled

After he got off the stairs, I threw a CD at him but it swerved wide right and decapitated a parrot instead.

"I missed!" I said

Soon Dizmiz started to have a BSOD expression on his face before walking slowly to his beloved parrot and start cradling it on his arms. Tears starts dripping and that's when I knew I pissed him off even more.

Good job guys. I'm guessing I won't ever be on here again. Actually for the last month I spent almost every hour near the computer because of school work and still couldn't get close to this. My pace has been really up and down. I do some good days then some terrible days, there seems to be no ok days :(

I'm thinking I need to calm down on the bping, it seems to be all I can think about when I'm out and away from a PC for a long time (wondering how many flash I've missed saving/protecting) and usually one of the very first things I do the moment I get in front of a computer.

I am 100% addicted to bping and it's gonna consume me if I'm not careful.

So it looks like getting into the top 40 should be a realistic goal within the coming weeks. I've been off the pace a little bit just for the sole fact that I haven't been spending as much time on the computer lately, just because I don't want to get burnt out on Newgrounds like I have in the past. However, with a few spots to gain here within the coming weeks, I should probably disregard any burnout issues and press on.

It really doesn't matter to me, but if it is lowered I wouldn't make it any less than 100/day. Gaining a starpace should still be a rare occasion, lowering it to say, 75 or 80/day would make it far too easy, IMO.

i think that 700 in a week would be a much better for most users, there are some off the top of my head that i know could pull that in a week if they really tried hard enough. So yes i will vouch for the 100/day for the new star pace bar to be set at. Though it is easier then what it is now it is still a big challenge to get that much in a sincel week.

Another bad week again, i got my experience points and thats all i got. Some were under judgement and others were not hence the low pace. This week may be another slow week, but after that i can try to get 50+ i will really strive for it this time since there are alot of inactive people infront of me. I could gain a few ranks as well.

In response to the proposal changes for the star pacer, due to the amount of people who were for lowering it to 100/day, the requirement will take into effect in September. While byteslinger's Voting Masters idea sounds great, I cannot see myself being able to manage it. Having an overall average since they entered the list would require to change a lot of things around in the spreadsheet, so to keep it simple, I'm going with the reduction.

Oh, and my main account is just resting at a nice milestone until tomorrow. ;)
