I gained another rank this week, which is very nice. Passing waynecolt which makes it even nicer :p But it was quite a slow week for me and IF, LR and tp all did much better it seems. Still, yaya12 and Rowenuts are really close and I almost finally made it into the top 60 bp´ers :) Something I have been aiming for for a very long time now.

The portal's been slowing down these past few weeks. Spam coming in, but blams harder to get. I'm trudging along now - will probably reach "General" this week. Have a lot of big gaps to pass - 197 points to get by HandsomePete - and he's on the move. Ahead of him is QuickFox - 843 points away, but he's sitting still. Momma said there would be days like this!

Looks like I'm still not going to get an rank ups for the next update. Even if I do extremely well I won't be able to get a rank. Perhaps in the next couple of updates I will be able to though. Of course with a pace around 30 I won't be able to do that, but I'm expecting it to get a little bit better this week. I'm going to at least shoot for 40 a day.

There does seem to be a lot of slow gainers and inactive accounts ahead of me though. Once I catch up to a couple I should be able to pass some more easier.

Yes, I have high-speed access at both my home office and my work office. Work is very slow these days, so I spend a lot of time on NG. Eight months ago I had about 10-12 active clients doing various forms of programming, web work, network support, etc. Then the economy tanked, and it seemed that the first thing everyone did was dump the consultants and cancel projects. I am down to 1 or 2 small clients now, and looking to rebuild a client base. I have some $$$ in savings that I had earmarked as "just in case" - and this is the case. I figure I can hold out about 3 or 4 more months, and if by June / July it still looks bleak, I will have to put aside the consulting gig and find a "real" 9-5 job.

So, I spend money very carefully. I don't have a social life. I'm trying to get clients via word-of-mouth and references through family, friends and prior clients. Plenty of talk - very little action. So, since I am up and in front of my laptop anyway, might as well do something fun and useful. I have also started tinkering in different aspects of Flash animation, after being inspired by many talented people here. Maybe in a few months I'll actually put something up that I'll be proud of.

Add in a(n un)healthy dose of insomnia, and that's why I push 550+ points a week here. Kinda sad, isn't it? But, hey, at least here, I can make a difference!

Again a very slow week. Got only 6 B/P on the 10th and 11th. But I still climed two ranks and am now listed as #111, which is a pretty nice spot. :)

Top 100 is still very far away, but I'll get there eventually. My next targets in reach are Xiivi and Major-Blood.

Also, very few accounts below me seem to be active. Syslock seems to only B/P ocasionally now, MiharuForever, who used to put down insane paces, has stopped completely... let's see how AllReligiousDrunk's pace will look like after she reaches SC.

If this pace continues, I should be right on the outside looking in at the end of the week. The weather's been pretty nice over the weekend and the start of the week, so I've been doing a lot of outdoor activities instead of being on the internet. I start work next week too from what I understand, so it looks as if those early afternoon points will be non-existent until the weekends. Regardless, I should make it to the top 50 by the end of next week.

The game's going great so far, but besides completing ALL the missions, I'm quite close to the end. I'd have probably beaten it by now if it weren't for other distractions such as the Futuramathon and playing other games.

Google is failing to find the vagrant user for me right now and I'm not impressed. :P Despite that, the missing user will be found soon enough.

This week feels very slow. Once again, we only have one 75+ pacer and that's byteslinger (of course). However, we do have AllReligiousDrunk being the latest addition to the Supreme Commander ranks and not only that, she made a crazy 18 ranks up. Oh, and let's hope Idiot-Finder doesn't do a combo breaker for the fourth time in a row. :P

Woohoo! I passed another person and made my way into the top 60. I expect my pace to pick up a bit as I have a week off to study for exams. Plenty of time to BP in between studying so RoweNuts shouldn´t be much of a problem. I might even go up two ranks if I am lucky.
