Yeah, I recently got in touch with him on Facebook, he uses that still quite often. Just Newgrounds it appears is cut off from him, he'll be back soon.

Almost forgot, the doctor ask me what happened as he saw some burn marks and cuts on my clothes and a cut on my cheek as well. I told him what happened and he said before they passed out, one have made the same description of the attacker, but he think she's crazy so he sedated her for the time being.

After I got out of the hospital (convinced the doctors and nurses that I don't need medical attention), I went to Coop's house to take a break when I saw a letter in the mailbox, I took it out and read it.

Oh boy, that can't be good, it's a threat send to Coop that if he participate in the tournament, the girls he's supposed to watch over will be killed. Apparently Coop have known Frau Bow as well as they think he's the one who send them to her place while he's away.

Heard on the news, the french dude have "committed suicide" for unknown reason.

This is suspicious.

Coop's going to arrive tonight after some delays.

Well Coop arrived and I told him about what happened, he wasn't happy

I think he's trying to hold it in, to make it worse I also show him a threat in the letter on what will happen if he participate in the tournament

Now he's stuck in a bind, the tournament's going start tomorrow

If he lose or withdraw, he and the god of gambler will lose face

Is it just my imagination, or has the portal been slowing down an awful lot as of late? I know that I haven't been as active on the b/p front as I normally am, but I've noticed that there has been a very appreciable decrease in the number of flashes being uploaded to the Portal.

I have noticed it as well. I barely get on the computer with my illness and general busyness so when I do get on, I really notice the decrease in number of submissions. For example, I was on the computer for 45 minutes this morning and only three flashes were submitted.

I agree. I was on all my normal times last week and yet I only ended up with a 55 b/p per day avg. Oh well.

Thanks Bahamut for updating this beast when you were not feeling well. You're the man!

I think the portal has become slightly slower than what it should be. Instead of the avergae 100+ points a day you could be getting it's down to 50+ which is pretty sad and makes my time of working up to position 300 a lot longer sadly.

Maybe we need to declare a special "day" for the portal in order to get things flowing again. Also, just to keep everyone happy, we will make sure that everyone understands that it's a special variation of this theme. Instead of allowing absolutely everything to pass into the portal, we will have it as a massive blam day. Admittedly, it does make life that little bit more annoying for people who are wanting extra saves to get onto the protectors list, or to advance their position therein. However, for those of us who are interested primarily in b/p score and rank, it won't make a difference seeing as blams are equivalent to saves.

An additional bonus will be that it will also allow us to see if icean is really being run by human hands, albeit with the possibility of multiple account owners, or whether it is truly a save grabbing bot. Were the rest of us to get somewhere in the region of 400-500 blams (let's just be generous and say that it's a modestly successful anti-clock day), and he gets none, then his secret will be revealed. As it stands, it's already somewhat suspicious that, at the time of writing, he has 24 blams to 18,224 saves. So, what do we say, a full blown blam day to get things moving again?

Please note, for the irony-challenged, I'm not being serious about this; the chances of getting the Administrators to go along with this and delete every related entry, thus guaranteeing the blam points, are virtually nil.

The Christmas and Newyears holdidays probably boosted the amount of submissions in the portal by a bit. Then we had that "shape n' shape" fad, which just seems to be dying down now...Though I do agree the portal seems annoyingly slow compared to what it has been, I would attribute some of the "slowness" as things returning to normal as well.

I decide to go to the hospital to make a visit when I notice someone's following me, when I look behind it was Billy Mays. Dude's incredibly annoying, he was trying to promote some trash I don't care about and I only stay because it would be rude to leave (although I've done tons of rude things myself but still). In the end he gave me another fighting manual (similiar to the one when I went to Houston), this one I bought it because it work for me last time although this one's a bit different. Once it's over I was on my way to the hospital when I was confronted by some weirdo wearing a mask.

I said "Who are you?"

"You will pay for what happened last time!" he said

I yawned and said "Just make it quick, I need to go to the hospital"

"I'll send you there!"

He came charging right at me but I put my hand on his head and he yells "Hey! Let me go!"

I said "Okay" and let him go, causing him to right into the tree

After the collision his mask falls off and I recognize who that is, a crazy Charger fan from before

That explains the limping and such, at least he's still alive, it made me feel a little better

"You may win this round but I'll be back!" he said before limping away

I made my way to the hospital there I ask the staff how are the sisters and I was told there isn't much hope, their injuries are too severe and one of the might make it but will be paralyzed for life (her spine is snapped)

Another thing, Coop made a visit as well

I heard the news today that my grandpa (79) was really ill and I am planning to fly back home to see him before he passes away. If he unfortunately passes away, then I am going to take a break for some time since he and grandma raised me.
Due to this, I will miss some NG time. Right now, my grandpa's health is more important than the stats.
Just letting you know that I will be out of action for a while. If I fall out of the top 50, let it be.

No hard feelings DOD. Family should come first unless your family is an asshole like mine is. My grandpa is 87 and always in a bed in the living room, kind of sad but he does give out some funny conversations sometimes. Yeah when I get to 500 I will be 200 away. Blargh..

Well, yesterday the Portal was really slow. I managed to get 31 B/P, I hope this doesn't mess with my goal that is to have a 50+ B/P pace next update.

On the other hand, today has been pretty active, and it might counterbalance yesterday's inactivity. =)

I just got past one of the prelim. rounds, I was up against a wussy Japanese gambler who was shaking for some reason. Seeing this, I made my move despite having inferior hand and raise up the stakes yelling "I WON!". Frightened he ran out of the table yelling "MOMMY!" and that was it, I eventually realize later on that guy is a reputated choker due to nerves, guess it happened again. Time to be ready for the second prelim. round tomorrow.

One more thing, I told Coop to call bodyguard Dragon, I have a feeling something's up concerning that incident few days ago and we'll need all the help we can get.

I have 58.5 B/P per day average so I'm pretty good, managed to get out 55 B/P yesterday.

I really doubt that ever happened, the most submissions i've ever seen come through the portal in a single day was about 1,600. It was clock day 2007 i believe. If this story you are telling is true please provide a link or some proof that his actually happened, because this is very hard to believe.

Despite the inactivity in the portal, I am getting a lot more blams than usual. I am much closer to a 1:1 ratio. I got almost 30 blams today and I can hardly remember the last time that happened.

Hay same here i'm at 29 blams i think i just set a record for myself. I hope this pattern continues because my blam goal is so much more than what i curently have almost 10k more.

I was there when it happened, what happen is that users can only get rewarded for direct blams

With that many would with hold their votes until they believe it's good enough to go for the kill, as a result many of those flash works can be around for years and still be under judgement

Ever since the early version of the current blam/saves system have been implemented, let's just say the users follow the old saying "Let's go crazy".

Also even while under judgement, you can still see the scores, reviews and the vote count. With that it's easier to know which and what to vote, as a result blam whores happened. You know what happens after that.

I daresay, though, that quite a few people would yearn for a return to the days of blams being the dominant statistic rather than the current habit of saving even absolute rubbish. Granted, I can't claim to speak for them; my own profile shows a rather marked difference between blams and saves, to put it mildly, but there is a part of me that thinks being able to see the score might be a good idea for under judgement titles.

Part of the present problem, I believe, derives from the possibility of people not realising the kind of power that they are capable of wielding in this context. For instance, were I to vote 0 on a newly passed flash, I'm able to take its overall score down by a rather appreciable amount. However, when people start thinking along the lines of "Why bother voting 0 when it's going to pass?", they're somewhat less likely to realise that even 50 modestly powerful voters could destroy a submission by themselves.
