With that, we seem to have exhausted our upper end rank-ups for a bit. Although Hypocrite (nee iamnone) is within range of making it to SC next week, he'll probably take 2. Although both chaotic and moongod are closer, their, "whenever" attitude makes it more like that j00bie will beat them to it in ~4 weeks. j00bie? Yes, j00bie (nee SevenStar). He and SevenStar have switched profiles set-ups to try and sow confusion ... just ignore it. Anywho, that's about it on the 5% VP bonus, while on the 7% front, it looks like Bonus will be the next full General in 3 weeks, 4 if he slacks off a bit. At pace, yaya12 should make it about the same time and, beyond them, that appears to be about it for the next couple of months.
Two site notes:
1) MPA is fairly convinced that he had the top pace overall for last year, and with Denvish' reappearance only occurring in October of last year, he has a reasonable case for it. The debate over that should be settled in three months. Although the first posting of the EGRL was on 20 June, 2003, the first posting which included the Top 50 was on 26 June. By chance, 2004 had a full posting on 26 June here. One of my (too damned many) projects has been to construct a set of spreadsheets referencing against those two postings, each of which has their own set of issues. The 2003 post was in thread (so was without profile links), and it's now a matter of following the breadcrumbs to their current name so I can do a stat pull correctly. The 2004 post is easier in that regard, but has 4 times as many people for me to enter. I'll have both ready for an anniversary posting ... sort of a "where are they now" kind of thing.
2)I made a slight tweak to the way in which I do (and timing of) the rank-up posting, which saves me ~20 minutes of screwing around with them. From here on out rank-ups within a given rank will not be listed alphabetically, but by total BPs. Chances are that this also reflects the order in which people obtained the rank-up since the preceding update, so works out just as well as alphabetizing.

On the Top 50 front, welcome back to QuikFox and farwell to LockClock. Given the paces, despite the clustering around 20,500, no one appears to be in danger of slipping. The next contender is SevenStar (see above), who is still 2 weeks+ off make it. More liekly closer to 3, as Toocool and company swarm past Mr_Snrub. staphita, -Mazza-, carmel, and -Gooch- could all be the "next" person in (or back in as the case may be) depending upon who gets and stays motivated, but it will take ~3-5 weeks for that to sort out. 3 if Gooch maintains his pace, longer if he slows down or if anyone else decides to jump into the mix.
