I've got a little question:
I remember reading somewhere that the amount of whistle points needed for deity status is based on how many people on the site have deity whistles (or at least something like that), so I'd like to know if it is possible to get de-deity't (a downgrade back to gold whistle) if you don't keep whistling...

and while i'm at it, i've got another one :P

it's a lot harder to find abusive submissions than it is to find abusive reviews, so do they value higher? And if so, by how much?

once i get to gold i'm gonna flag less frequently. gold looks cooler than deity in my opinion.

Well a bronze whistle is more in proportion with your level and B/P rank so nothing to worry about.

Unknown. According to mods, the only people who know anything about Whistle Points are certain staff. The general consensus is that whistle points are ranked from 5.00 maximum to minus numbers - 4 being the amount required to instantly alert a mod (i.e. Deity Whistle) and 0 and below having no effect (i.e. Garbage Whistle).

I think it's safe to assume that you gain/lose more points on submissions than reviews. I'm also guessing that you lose more points for flagging incorrectly than you gain from flagging correctly, because then you can't rank up purely on spamming and luck.

No one really knows, except admins, everything will get 1 point everyone thinks, and you need a certain amount to gain a whistle level up, you need more and more for higher level whistles. You get -1 for flaggin non-abusive. I don't beleive there is a limit to how deep in the negetive points you can have with a garabage whistle.

Some people think flagging abusive flashes give more points, because it's a bigger deal, but no admins have answered these with full detail.
