extremedood (spam again...)
Every time I see you write "spam" I think "oh shit, chain letter" but am sorely disappointed to find basic spammy reviews. ^_^
Ha, sorry Mal, I guess I'm not superstitious enough to finding these review; and replacing "flooding title" with "spam" is just too irresistible. ;-)

Yeah, in some ways I wished NG added a Digg-style editing system at least to have them make last minute changes to their reviews, thus keeping these good reviews/zero score types to a minimal.
That would be a godsend! It has worked wonders with the userpages, but its possible it won't be implemented due to a score's factor on choosing Review Crew Pick / Underdog submissions. Just a guess.

I've had a couple of reviews like that deleted off my submissions (albeit my submissions are crap), and I was a little annoyed. Ok, they're not constructive, but I don't care, and I bet your arse other authors don't care, either.
You're right, authors may not care, but review mods will. These type of deleted reviews is likely to spur again in another submission, and through deletion of the reviews and being notified by m-bot or a mod, will the reviewer realize his mistake(s).

Do not post TONS and TONS of crappy reviews just to get high in the rankings.
Posting one or two reviews like "HAHAHAHA" does not make someone a stat whore.
No, but writing loads of shitty reviews do. The guideline is just stating to avoid this kind of behavior.
Do not flood the review title or body. Examples would be long strings of characters or words with no breaks or repeating words or phrases over and over.
Again, why penalise someone for posting a review like that? Are you trying to scare new users away? If a user is consistently and deliberately reviewing in that style, then yeah, ban him. Otherwise, I honestly don't see the problem here.
Personally, I wouldn't find reviews that say "HAHAHAH" as abusive unless they extend it to some spam nature say... "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH... etc" though technically it falls as a one word review. These kind of review would be penalized because its spam. It's not hard to write a single sentence. Not to mention it can just continue to carry on in other reviews. The bans isn't necessary permanent, it all depends on the context of the abusive review and a review moderator's judgment.
So now it's up to the reviews mods if they don't like reviews on MY submissions? Not that I blame the review mods, I blame you guys for being a bunch of stat whores who care for nothing else other than a shiny whistle.
The review mods responsibility is to look over any alerted/otherwise abusive reviews, often found by flaggers. If the reviews is deemed abusive or breaking a guideline, it's deleted. It doesn't matter if its on your submission.
Who are you generalizing as stats whores? I certainly haven't seen anybody comment "I want a Deity whistle!!". You yourself have a deity whistle.... You should know well what it took to get your "shiny whistle". Lot of guys here are working in the same course of actions as you probably may have but in some cases, the review mods will find abusive reviews outside from this thread. I don't understand why your trying to blame anyone for reviews, you didn't give a shit about.
Besides, if it's only "some", why take the risk flagging it? You guys cry enough about having, horrors of horrors, a garbage whistle.
Who's crying? The people here with garbage whistle are working to renew that, and perhaps they have learned what is abusive or what is not so that flagging no longer becomes a risk.
Please, don't give me that BS about "trying to clean up the site".
We all have different objectives in mind in this thread, maybe to just dig oneself out of garbage whistle, or maybe by off-hand, spotted a abusive review / stolen submission that needed to be reported. Whatever the case may be, it'll always lend to "cleaning up the site".
I do respect your opinion in this but don't take out your "annoyance" on the flaggers from this thread.
