Four spam reviews. Most are just repeating certain letters, one is in Spanish, etc.. pretty easy to find.

Of course its spam! Quote or not, its useless. If all you can think of to write is a line from the flash you're reveiwing, then just don't write one at all... And whoever thought that was helpful needs to have their head examined...

Yeah I agree with your points but if the review was replaced with any other caps quote such as "Charlie! Your the banana King!", it wouldn't have that type of spam connotation. Still, agreed its completely pointless. Ha, my guess with the mark was someone found the review slightly funny since part of the audience actually treats the review system as a comment system; influenced heavily by websites such as youtube. Guess sometimes will never change.

Yes, Gu-rrilla is right. For the most part, insulting a flash wouldn't be considered abusive. Try to keep an eye out for reviews that is completely out of character or is hateful such as reviews that are abusive to the author, floods of review spam, and/or just anything else that breaks the review guidelines. It's tough to find, but your efforts will be appreciated by the flash author.. in form of karma. ;-)

That's a problem really...But I don't think he's the original author. For one, if he was to make an account, surely it would be based from his name, but still it's not enough to call with just that. However, when I looked at it, I doubt that he just decided to create an account and post his game here.

I looked at his reviews and he isn't leaving a whole bunch of short reviews. So he isn't trying to just build his review count. It's not abusive because it doesn't attack the author. And it isn't spam. Is this review useless? Yes. Abusive? No.

Yeah, I know it is pretty useless. Just hang out in this thread for a couple of days and you will really catch on to what is abusive or not.

No. That is 100% useless. You're looking for reviews that attack the author or do something illegal such as posting links in order to promote unrelated sites.

If what the reviewer is saying is abusive to the author, then it should be flagged. Even if the review has some harsh words toward the flash it doesn't mean its abusive; he's expressing his opinion and there's nothing wrong with that. You need to be careful and know the difference between what's useless and what's abuse. That's how so many people end up with garbage whistles...

Sorry for the double post. But TheLoneReviewer, look at my post above yours. If you get to it before they're flagged, THOSE are abusive.

and if they're not, than oh my god, I give up!!! :P

oh yeah. totally. says in the guidelines to not leave emoticons and try to make dumbass pictures with walls of text. sort of along the same lines of flooding the review space.

those can be abusive if they have a lot of them and they are all consisting of "You suck" or "sucks. gay" and suchlike

well, they obviously didn't leave a review. Being totally off topic from anything to do with the submission is also abusive. things like "today I ate a ham sammich" and the movie lacked sammiches of ham, totally abusive. the reviewer is clearly +1ing.

Well, take Malachy's opinion over mine, that's for sure. I just feel like I have to be so picky no adays with what I flag, I wish I could just flag everything that's a waste of space...
