I don't know if you guys were linking them in here or not, but I've run into at least 3 reviews today that were totally helpful and not even near unhelpful let alone abusive. that's more than I typically see.

needless to say, whoever flagged them lost points for it.

I also saw some older reviews, and reviews from older submissions.

Don't go trolling around in TOTWs from 2001 for abusive reviews.

Malachy, when you mention reviews from older submissions, are you implying that we should avoid new abusive reviews from old submissions? I understand that these reviews may not reach the author but the reviewer still may just keep up the abusive habits. Eh??

What he means are the age of the reviews, not the age of the submission. Some submissions back in 2001 still getting reviews in 2008. So if someone wants to leave 08 review for an 02 submission, that is fine, but that review is subjected to the current review guidelines.

However, that 02, 01 review not so much since there was no guidelines then. Plus that's history, don't want to delete history now do we? :)

exactly, I simply meant don't go rummaging through really old submissions looking for really old abuse.

Ah, gotcha. I figured as much but I must I read the "and" as a separate entity, haha oh man... ;-)

ha, nay.. due to perhaps one day... a archiver might just come in and make some comparative discovery of internet languages of 2001 and 2025. It may happen!

Found a smaller 'goldmine', I quit flagging about a year ago but I'm doing it for a dear mate.
