I mean I flag reviews as abusive ONLY when they are REALLY abusive (they insult the author or they write the same word over and over) but my whistle is at garbage status!
Newgrounds should inform you which of your flagged reviews weren't abusive, so you don't repeat your "error" next time...

Hmm, I'm going on a limb here but perhaps you haven't flagged enough reviews and/or your flagged reviews haven't been cleared yet. Don't worry if you follow this thread, and post a few abusive reviews (or any other that breaks the rules) here, you'll get out of the garbage in no time flat.

Don't just flag what people tell you to flag. Make your own judgment on each review - just because someone says a review is abusive, it doesn't mean they're right. In fact, you'd be surprised how often they're wrong.

If you keep going on other people's judgment, you can hardly complain when you don't get a better whistle.

That is one of the reasons why I always say "Read the review and make sure it breaks the rules before you flag it. But with some reviews even that doesn't help now since some are borderline and can go either way by the Mods choice.

A few abusive review through the pages but Remember to read the review first and make sure it breaks the rules before you flag it!

I really see no point in going for the borderline reviews anyway, the potential to gain whistle points is totally unjustified by the fact that if you lose, you lose much more than you stand to gain in the first place...so, don't bother.

That's like playing poker against some type of poker champ...but if you lose you have to shell out not only what you bet, but also another half of the total pot...Sure if you win...you get some extra cash...but if you lose...

Isn't there something in the guidelines about not leaving loads and loads of crappy reviews for the sole purpose of increasing your review count? That guy had 8 pages of crappy reviews, not one of which seemed helpful.

well yes, but I doubt he was reviewing +1ing, because he was just spewing abusive reviews, and for that he's on a vacation from reviewing.

alright. i deleted all the bad ones. anything else I see from that author that isn't abusive is going to lose you some whistle points.
