So there's no reason for losing whistle points... again.
I think the voting system is whacked out also. I just gave a portal submission a five in the portal, and it gave it eight negative points :-/
This site just seems to be falling apart day by day. First the servers and now the whistle system and now the voting system. I flagged those mini clip reviews also, they were deleted but where are my whistle points?
Every review I flag gets deleted, but no whistle points. Even before I had this garbage whistle, every review I flagged got deleted. I would think flagged and deleted reviews would give out positive whistle points, not negative.

If I hear one more thing about them miniclip reviews, I'm going to scream. For the FINAL time, you all received POSITIVE whistle points for flagging those reviews. Besides, even if there was a "glitch" (which there isn't) 14 reviews will not make you drop a whistle level.
If there's any more crying from you people in here, the mods will put this thread under review again. This time, I have a good feeling that it'll stay locked forever. Just stop it with the bitching, for crying out loud, it's just a picture of a shiny whistle for goodness sake. Does it affect your daily lives that much?

I disagree. There's nothing particularly offensive or abusive about that. It simply states that the submission didn't do what you claimed it would do.

This whole issue users mysteriously dropping their whistle levels has continued to happened far behind from the miniclip reviews. Users were losing their whistle status in unexplained circumstances, many who knew the right/wrong differences in marking abusive reviews. I myself have question the whistle system because as faithful as I was in actively seeking out rightful abusive reviews, I was extremely surprised when I dropped a level after the minclip review incident.
There are several experienced flaggers who has/ and can testify on a possibility of a whistle glitch based on their unexplained experiences. Sure, its plausible they may be bullshitting and some could be misflagging, but theres been a growing number of dedicated users who's been affected over the course of this thread. The only proof is the numbers behind the points system. Isn't it odd that there hasn't been a single whistle level upgrade mentioned from this thread in some time? Sure its possible that its not being mentioned, but for many of the garbage users who's been at this for some time, things haven't change.
If there's any more crying from you people in here, the mods will put this thread under review again. This time, I have a good feeling that it'll stay locked forever. People are voicing their opinion not because their want a "shiny whistle" but because there seems to be some of injustice from the lost of their whistles. What are we doing wrong? Is the whistle system the cause? I doubt the miniclip reviews were marked off as standard positive whistle points, because the amount of people losing their whistle status is insurmountable.
A few days, I've sent a mass pm to a number of admins/review mods about a possible error in the whistle system. Many of us are out here finding abusive reviews to help the author, not for our own selfish gains. If an admin can at least chime in after reviewing the circumstances/numbers, and tell us if there is a probability of a whistle glitch or we're are all just bullshitting, this will ease our mind. Right now, I feel somethings up with the whistle system, though I can't exactly explain what or why. I still honestly hope a admin will pitch in....

Been a while since i've felt like flagging some reviews. They aren't as obvious as they were in the past, though I'll do my best to find some.

Guess I have some questions while sifting through reviews. Saw the flash about abusive reviews and how to find them. Though I've seen a lot of reviews that say "This is bad" and "This is not good," sometimes alongside better usage of vocabulary (but the main point is that the reviewer didn't like the flash). When it becomes a useless review, at what point does it become abusive?

When it attacks the author, not the submission. Calling the author names etc.. saying that the submission should be blammed, etc..

Another question to a mod. or regular here. Is it abusive if there are reviews that say the movie is stolen if it is really stolen?

Yup its abusive...a user should contact a mod but shouldn't post that something was stolen in a review...

Mods can't do anything about portal, email wade with appropriate title and all the details in the body.

Well now I'm confused...see I did that but it's been three months and no action, contacted an audio mod and said that I shouldn't contact Wade at all and should go straight to a mod instead...
