This is a moot point, guys. It's agreed upon by the review mods, so this matter isn't up for any excess consideration.

You will be penalized for flagging reviews written 8, 7, 6 etc years ago. If you are obsessed with your whistle I suggest you steer clear of these.

I can assure you, with absolute certainty, there are no flagged reviews from 2001 that have been hanging around for 7 years just waiting to be addressed.

Please, if you want to "help clean up the site" like some of you claim to have the desire to do, stick to recent reviews.

You can mark anything unhelpful despite, as far as the mods concern. Same goes for helpful, just the abusive button is what we are concerend about.

Why is everyone putting up such a big fuss against the mods? They made the policy, it makes sense, so just follow it and stop flagging old stuff. Simple.

Whats it like, y'know when you mark or unmark reviews?
Do you guys get a different interface to us or is newgrounds the same/similar to how we see it?
Because if you have to check marked reviews and award/take away our whistle status then surely you must have some kind of special interface to do that?
(or does every flagged review go to your inbox or something?)

good question. i wouldn't say that it gets sent to their inbox, as they would probably already get alot as mods, and if someone went on a flagging spree they would have some inbox-clearing to do.

Nah, you can't flag reviews from Blammed or otherwise deleted submissions. Not many people check the obits anyways, so in a way they're off the site. Also, obituary reviews don't count for a user's Review Count. So why would they be flaggable?
