Two things to check out:

First, we are taking on a great new advertiser, 80stees.com - they sell shirts with images from the 80s like the Transformers, GhostBusters, 80s movies, 80s television, etc. The problem is that they don't have a cool ad - so I proposed a contest on NG. They agreed and put up some spiffy prizes:

1st Place - $100 Gift Card
2nd Place - $50 Gift Card
3rd Place - 1 tshirt of your choice

Also, they do a lot of advertising and may ask the winner to help them on a freelance basis. So, contest rules are simple, they need a 125 * 125 box ad for the left hand side of the page (bonus points for creating a matching 468 * 60). The ads must be in .SWF format! Please email your ad to Gogi to ensure it is reviewed, but also submit it to the Portal so everyone else can see. Be sure to include "80stees" in the title of your Portal submission, so it is easy for us to gather them up. :)

Second, I was forwarded this clip by at least a dozen people over the past 4 days. I thought US cell phone commercials were weird, but the Brits really have us beat. I think the clip is called "Idle Thumbs", but you'll see why people call it Mangina:

I remember them, I talked to them once about advertising on MF, but they wanted to host popup ads, so it never went through.

uhm i wonder if this fella accualy bought the rights to make these tshirts becase i know one company has all teh greatful dead merchndising rights and things like that soooooooooooooo idunno...

Yo Tom! I finally finished my 80sTees advertisement! I worked hella hard on it, probably the hardest I ever worked on any flash movie, I hope you guys like it, its short, but I'm sure it'd make a cool ad.

I think you should keep making little contests like these, this is the only time I've really tried(or learned for that matter) a great deal in this flash movie.
