I hate the Wii.

Why would I hate it? Simple. You can't try it out in a store.
Now this isn't discouraging anybody else from buying it but everybody who buys it is pretty stupid in my opinion-unless they tried it at another person's house and thought it was good-which means that other person was stupid unless...loop.

So the PS3 is much better. There aren't so many good games on it yet but it allows customers to try it out first. Nintendo was pretty smart. The only reason the Wii sold so well is because it was hyped moreso than its competitors. Psychological manipulation? 600$ is really a small price to pay. I know people who have the Wii and are not satisfied-shoulda warned them to try before buy.

This was a really bold move by Nintendo and certainly let my expectations down. I know there would be trouble with the remote if people could try it out freely, but Nintendo would sell many more consoles than the ones broken from people trying it out. How lame.

Some places will demonstrate it and let you try it out, but that doesn't happen too often.
I got my Wii on opening day, so it wouldn't matter since you can't try out a product before it's release.

It's really fun, and is the best to invite people over to play with. And is the most reasonably priced.
$250 = Wii Console, One Wii Mote + Nunchuck, Wii Sports
And it's completely BC, anything your Game Cube did, it can do without buying extra junk.
The VC is neat too, $5 is a lot it's totally worth it for classics like Mario and Zelda.

Besides, there is nothing that the PS3 does that the 360 doesn't do better. SIXAXIS is lame in all of the games I've seen it in.

If you actually TRIED it, you would think otherwise.

The only reason that you can't try it in stores is because the controls are wire-less, and putting them on a stand or something prohibits you from playing the games. That an the possibility you can whack someone upside the head.
