i don't have a link, but twice Jack thompson has actually accused microsoft of being resonsible for tragadys because of their games. First he accused counter-strike of causing V-tech, and then accused HALO of causing the beltway sniper attacks. he has threatened to sue microsoft.

I wouldn't do that. I'm sure Thompson has heard of NG by now, so there'd be no point in doing anything to get his attention. It would be a meek response anyways, it's not as if he ever has anything intelligent to say.

Like that matters? He still manages to get publicity to ignorant stations that are willing to let him spew his bullshit, and are always wuick to call him in, citing him as an "expert". You know, you don't need a license to sue somebody, or to get on T.V, or to just be an ass (the only thing Jack Thompson is an expert at).

I don't think he could draw any real connections between what Adam did and the content on Newgrounds. Not to mention, the Newgrounds community (well, some of us) felt for his death. Newgrounds didn't influence him to do what he did. He was just simply just a contributor to our fun.

As for Weiss, fuck him. He had mental problems to begin with, and seemed to be obsessed with some pretty goofy subjects anyways.

Sadly, I'm forgetting that the demographic that Jack Thompson appeals to are lazy air-headed idiots who are too lazy and ignorant to investigate topics and come to their own conclusion. Good. I hope he sees the most vile, disgusting, and offensive content on the site. He focuses on more things than just video games. He's gone after 2 Live Crew as well as Howard Stern. As far as internet awareness, he's had conflicts with Penny Arcade as well as a few other sites, and has reportedly posted on internet forums with Cease & Desist threats and opinion slanted political stupidity. Sue based on what? The most he could ever do is verbally attack the site, seeing as the site administrators do their best to keep everything nonchalant and according to the law. If anything, he'd just make an ass out of himself.
