Anyone here buddhist, or just know a lot about it, because I have a lot of questions concerning it. I know there have been a few threads about buddhism, but they don't seem to go into the area I am questioning.
In buddhism to truely reach nirvana you must stop craving everything, and the only way you are suppose to do that is by following the eightfold path, in which describes how to do so. But to stop craving, what is the difference between craving and having, or wanting and needing, that makes nirvana reachable.
The path is suppose to stop from craving, but if people stopped say craving love, how would buddhists get married, or if we stopped desiring thirst, would not all buddhists die? Or is this not important enough to change and rather a person should just ignore these areas, or is it important that stopping craving is not possibly without stopping things that cause life, or keep it.
If you do not know what I am saying, answering to this thread is probably not useful to me, but I don't have the power to stop spammers or flamers. But if anyone can say anything to help, I would appreciate it, I understand there has to be atleast 10 bad posts before I might get a useful one.
