Best Instant Messanger

So i want to download an instant mesenger but dont know what to pick

Is Yahoo Instant Messenger, AIM, or MSN the best?

And, i want the messenger that has the most people.

I THINK Aim is the best/most used since you can put your AIM name in your ng profile, but i could be wrong

I haven't used AIM in a few years, but I recent redownloaded it and its pretty damn nice.

Adium is by far the best in my opinion, but it's OS X only. If you're on a PC, get Trillian, it's decent.

MSN cause you can use webcams easier, you get icons like the WOO! guy running around a tree, and it doesn't suck major balls.

i use MSN and AIM. they are really no different cept on msn yo can play a game with the other person, invite another person, or somfin. but on aim you have unlimited typing space but a chance of keyhackers and what not. id go MSN if youve got a windows PC cuz its windows friendly even with vista

This thread isn't going to exactly work if every spouts of different opinions.

It really rely's on what is popular in you're area, like what everyone at you're school is using for example, so you can talk to 'em.

Overall though, the best instant messenger, is by far, and not just opinionated, really, by far windows live messenger is the best.

I use MSN but so dose half of the world... never tried AIM or Yahoo so MSN is about all i can pitch to ya.

I personally favour MSN. It's easy to use, you can personalise it to suit you, and the conversations can be very intersting on it.

AIM was nicer when i used it, problem was no one i knew used it, so i barely had anyone to talk to. MSN aint that bad, you won't regret anything.

AIM has the most people on it, if you have friends at school they probably have one. Putting it on your NG profile is helpful too.

You could use Paltalk, you can use AIM, Yahoo, and I think MSN (isn't it now Live?). Also, Paltalk has the NG chatroom. But honestly, Paltalk is one POS program.

Ok well I dont know what to decide, im sure its bettween AIm and MSN.Im going with MSN for now and if my freinds hav AIm ill switch.
