User pages are an awesome addition to NG. It's kinda like now we have rooms. And even though it's a free space to put up what you want I'm glad there are some rules in place. Because damn it, there are some assholes out there.

I guess you'll have to trust us to not spam our user pages, that means eventually, when the racial slurs and child pornography appear on every other user page, you'll have to take down that feature, everyone will cry NERF and then a big brother style word filter will appear due to the site being sued for millions of dollars by an angry church going mother. Or you could stop all that by making some simple rules and maybe ban someone from their news post and the forums (an extra super duper ban) for obscenities.

There should be rules against myspace-esque "group pages".
