Please excuse GlassBomb. The only reason he's being so harsh is that he wants to insure quality into this collab. Perhaps to prevent any more trouble in the future is to present your idea first. We could rate it and suggest ways you can improve it. Also, CAMERA-BOI and TomaMato are lending their voice talents to people who need it.

I think we can have tv clips/movie clips but only if they are complete scenes and just not quotes/well made.

Oh, and Decade, full scenes would be too long. Plus, what is the purpose of not being able to use TV/Movie audio anyway? Although I don't really have a problem with it, a lot of nice entries have been shut up because of it. By setting such a high standard for entries, you might not get very many.

Because, quotes are unoriginal, I mean, we're already using someone else's art, so why use someone else's joke???

Ok so me and glassbomb talked it over, we are officially allowed to use movie clips if its a serious peice like that was. The reason I chose that was because it was a full scene from the movie, they didnt use mario or megaman or any other nintendo/capcon characters, they used river city ransom because they are human and not giant corportation characters that are plumbers they were human characters that didnt seem like a special person they were perfect because they were able to fit the role. Mario saying "Luke I am your father" to sonic wouldnt fit because they specificly needed a dark vader and a luke not a mario and a sonic. Those are customized characters for special things. You need plain out scripts that call for a normal human. Like river city ransom or a metal slug would be used for thge scene in saving private ryans with vin deasle.

You need to have human like scriptss that dont call for a special weapon character nor person. You cant have any character play a role think smart!

I figured, considering I didn't have much time to work on it. I'll come up with an idea and work on something else later.

I am doing a Punch Out scene. It is still in progress. I will give yall a snap pic asap. Sorry for taking my time so long. Summer school is kicking my ass. (college Spanish II).

Why do people keep using things like laziness and lack of time as an excuse for their poor submissions? There's not deadline is sight so just take your time. Sit down and don't start animating till you've got a clever idea in your head. Everyone seems to be focusing on a brand of lame overdone sprite slapstick where they could be putting more effort into their comedy.

So yeah, if I had to some up my advice in one word it be planning.

I'd help in voice acting no-dout though! So if you need me to voice act anything-

It's not an excuse for me- I'm leaving on a two-week vacation today. But yeah, if I have time, I'll start working on something else. I'll just have to wait for an idea to pop into my head.
