How to test a Preloader...

Hello,
Well,I did not want to stay with the same and old newground´s preloader,so then i decided to try doing a new one for myself.

but the problem is when i´m going to run the swf on my computer it do not load,because there is no need to do that......

but,if it don´t load,how can i know if my loading bar is looking good and etc?.....

There is how to see how it is?

hmmm good question... Well I geuss you could put a old flash move/game on it and check it like that.

Yeah... Well,i was thinking about that,but my internet is not too fast so it could get a lot of time to be submiting and re-submiting it to see,maybe i´ll do it if i can´t get any easyer tip

make sure you have something to actually load, a sound file would be good.

Then press CTRL + Enter to load it up, then press CTRL + Enter again. Wait a few seconds it should show it loading, if not the preloader doesn't work.

Well, when you're working in the .fla file, press cntrl+enter. That way you can see the preview of the swf.
Now, in the swf preview, you can see in the the file bar, i think it's in there. There is an option in there to simulate the download and you can choose in between some internet velocities.

Sorry if i didnt explain clearly, i'm still practicing my english XD

But look in the swf preview for options it is in there.

Download a big wallpaper image and put that in a second scene.
Ctrl + Enter and run the flash, change the Download Speed to the lowest and then Ctrl + Enter again.

Usually gives a good impression.
