OK, what's wrong with the Newgrounds community and Madness Tributes? Eh? Somehow, little 'tests' which are composed of cheap/stolen sprites and horrid animation, end up passing with a 2 or a 3 and general acceptance in reviews. But when someone makes a good madness tribute, he/they get flamed for "copying krinkels", since for SOME REASON, they can't grab the concept of the word 'TRIBUTE' conjoined with 'MADNESS'

I, frankly, think the general community is made up of retards. And the internet community of money -bound retards who can get an internet connection because they were lucky enough to be spawned out of parents with an income.

As a fellow Madness Animator, I agree with what TCM is saying here. Why are good Madness Tributes getting blammed? The only time a good one passes is when it's part of a series that struggled to get by itself. Honestly, it just isn't fair.

I'd like to, but most of my stuff is just beta tests and unfinished animations. My stuff is hard to judge on just that. Besides, when you host SWF files on places like photobucket or Imageshack, it tends to cut down the framerate a bit.

Yeah. I usually jack up the framerate by 5 frames before I put it on photobucket.

Sorry for the lack of animations that I can show. But the rest can't be shown right now, and Other animatons are dated and not worth showing. I'll be sure to practice more.

And to think the stuff my friend above me has produced is the same kind of thing getting blammed only because it's madness. How sad.

I must agree with TCM here. I see way too much that could reduce men to tears pass with a high or at least mediocre score because it's madness, whereas the true classics (The Downfall Of Jimmy, for one) get pushed aside. Hell, Counter-Terrorist Sam got 3.66! I would give it 2.0 at BEST. Seriously, I see way too much injustice.

Y'rly. Madness animations are treated as clones if they're well done. Which get's them a sub-par score to what it deserves. But an animation where characters movement are identical to that of a rapid convulsing lump of poo'.

I suggest you guys watch the animation, before going on a horridly inaccurate hunch and rating 0.

I'm not sure why they are getting kicked out either, maybe people don't think it's original content?

A user can make an original flash, from the theme, animation techniques, even kills.

But it hurts when the horrid things pass. Is it the corny plots that people wish were in the ACTUAL madness series? I don't know

I agree TCM. And what's worse is that noobs put out "tutorials" which just spawn more shitty tributes.

And some people think that a "sprite sheet maker" is a great idea for a tribute.

I agree completely, what equally is annoying is that they steal exposure from better stuff that people worked hard on.

who gives a shit if its copied off krinkles or not? it was still animated and drwn by somone else, and they put effort into it. just beacuse they also use one type of character, dosent mean its a rip off. and even if it is ripped off, the stuff TMC (whatever) posted was a fucking good rip off.

I think that they're pretty good but if they were longer they'd be great! No seriously, whenever I watch a madness tribute I read some reviews and most of them are saying that the guy copied Krinkles and he was breaking the rules or something.

If you think madness tributes are horrible, try watching Kitty Krew flashes, they suck!

That Crazy Man, your stuff is good but, try creating something of your own besides a few madness tributes. Make your own series just like mmankt did. He made that Intruder: Revelation flash.
