Recommend me some Wii games

I'm buying a Wii in the next couple of days and have no idea what to buy for it. Other than the console itself, this is what I'm getting:

Wii Component Video cable
USB LAN Adapter
Resident Evil 4
Zelda Twilight Princess
Extra Wii Remote
Extra Wii Nunchuck

I've been thinking about getting Red Steel, but I've seen too many mixed reviews to make a decision, and I don't want to waste my money on a crappy game. So, any recommendations?

Super Paper Mario is a great game to get for the Wii; TLOZ: Twilight Princess is also an excellent game to get. However, with all that said, I have been too broke to buy any other games, so you need to ask other people what else you should get to pass the time before Metroid Prime 3 and SSBB.

Hm, try and get Super paper mario, or WarioWare Smooth Moves if you want variety

Mortal Kombat is great banter, takes a while to get used too.. when i first played it when i got it i thought it was a bit shit, but it grows on u after afew rounds and its pretty awesome.

I rented Red Steel and I really wasn't a fan of it. I'm a big fan of Time Crisis and House of the Dead, and was expecting the same sort of experience on my Wii. Sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. The controls were terrible and I didn't find the game that fun. The multiplayer was good though. I had some fun with that with my friends. If you still want it, rent it first. Some people really do enjoy it a lot.

I'd recommend Super Paper Mario. It's a really fun game, and it's a laugh riot.

Excite Truck is good once you get the hang of it. It's a really fun game to play, but the multiplayer is somewhat lacking...

Trauma Center is good. Buy it if you were a fan of the DS version, it's a whole new game now.

I dont have a Wii, so I cant really recommend any games, but I suggest to save a little money for Super smash brothers brawl, which will come out december 3rd I think

I suggest going to this website gameznflix.com. You can rent wii games and then they'll send the games to you by mail. You can mail the games back any time you want with no extra charge. That way when you get bored of a video game (we all get bored of a game eventually) you can just mail it back and get a new game. I suggest getting paper mario or wario warez. You can also rent red steel so you can see for your self if you like the game.

Yeah, but I don't exactly think I'll enjoy it very much. I want "actual" games rather than something that seems "reminiscent" to Wii Sports. I'll consider Super Paper Mario for now.

I'm also getting a Wii Points card (200). Anyone recommend some Virtual Console tites (bear in mind, I'm downloading the Opera Browser).

Well, you have to consider that NES games cost 500 points, SNES and Genesis games cost 800 points and N64 games cost 1,000 points. So, you'll probably be left with some points left over. It might be best to buy points right off of the Wii. It's the same price, and you can buy in increments of 1,000 instead of 2,000.

As for games, buy some games that you don't own but have heard good things about. I mean, instead of spending ten bucks to buy an N64 game, just plug in your N64, blow into the cartridge, and play the game. No sense re-buying it.

I suggest you rent Wario Ware: Smooth Moves and Super Paper Mario. They're both great games. I also reccomend you join the Wii Club, there's a link to it in my sig.

There aren't really too many good games out for the Wii at the moment. You'll just have to wait I suppose.
