I already noticed this before the redesign, but it only seems to be affecting me now.
When I'm writing posts/topics/reviews, scrolling pages and opening new pages on newgrounds there's always some lag.
I took a look at the source and saw over 100 lines of javascript. I then disabled javascript and everything runs much better. no lag when typing, none when scrolling or opening pages. The thing with javascript is it's only usually used lightly to do small things (like the message boxes that tell you that your image is too big or a link is broken).

yeah and still have same problems. I think scrolling is better, but I'm not going to change browser just so one part of one of many websites I go to can work.

I turned javascript back on then refreshed the page to post the message (probably best to copy and paste the text if you want to do that even if I didn't have to)

The lag in the text box is a known issue.
Bob said they'll sort it out, that it isn't normal and that he will bring it back to normal.
He said it mostly was due to the fact that the servers are kind of busy right now... I think.
But they'll rewrite the javascript or do something about it.
... when the time comes.

Those are CSS errors, which wouldn't make the site run slow, just not show up properly (I think).
I only have an occasional problem with lag.

it's nothing to do with the server. It's the javascript (probably checking the characters remaining) that's making the text lag

I thought I'd scrolled down to the javascript errors when I took a screenshot. There are javascript errors, but they were at the bottom

I haven't experienced any type of lag with the redesign, including the text problem.

also I just noticed. Before the redesign on the post message page there was a link to go back to the topic, but it looks like they've taken that out now. I know I could just click back, but it seemed like something that could have been kept.
