It's not that America doesn't hate the world, it's that America hates things that it can't understand. The Muslim religion is strange and different, so... they must be terrorists! The Canadians have universal healthcare... they must be communists! If the rest of the world became homogenized and Americanized, (ex: if the entire Eurasian land mass was covered with parking lots and Wal-Marts) then we wouldn't hate them. But as long as they're going to think for themselves, America's going to resent them for it.

I was having a discussion with Nitroxide last night and we concluded....

Almost every country today has some kind of guerrilla militia threatening it. They stand strong and even their own government can't really control them.

Now in America we don't have that. I am positive there are places where people are training or gathering for the future purpose of trying to overthrow our current government but right now they aren't a threat to at all. Hell most people don't even know they exist.

I think it is because most Americans feel so safe putting every aspect of their well being in the hands of this government. I can’t argue about this being a great place to live but in the US one can easily lose one’s identity and fall into the corruption. America isn’t pure and lies continuously surface on a day to day basis yet its citizens choose to ignore that and blindly stay true to the government never questioning its authority.

I love my country and I am proud to be a citizen only because of the people who make it great to be here. Without any second thoughts I’d do what ever it took in my power to overthrow this superpower we call a fair government.
