I personally still can't get over the witch burnings. The thing that sickens me is any religion that condones/ed the killing of people for practising other religions.

That was quite funny, but I still hate generalization. I'm a Cathlic, but I'm not a bible-thumper. Hell, I don't even go to church every Sunday, even though I should.

Christians believe that Jehovah (the name of our God) is a forgiving one. If you sin he forgives you, it's only people that are against him (not people who aren't Christian, but anti-Christians) go to hell. Also truly evil people, like Hitler. Hitler was an evil motherfucker.

But the point IS not all Christians are Bible-thumping adolescent boy-raping hypocrites. Some of us actually have a free will and DON'T rape little boys. No one thought bad about the Christians until a few priests do something wrong, now we're ALL evil. It's people like Wade that piss me off.

Errr...right. I guess you kind of missed a big picture since you skipped from page 1 to page 3. Page 1 was full of people semi to fanatically supporting Wades Caholic bashing, whereas page 2 had people pretty pissed and disapointed (including me) the he'd slam (directly or indirectly) an entire religion based on the mistakes of a select few. Shouldn't that have gone in the Politics thread anyways??? Anyways, I won't slam you for making the joke. Telling a joke about one catholic "priest" is better than saying "They're all fucking hypocites", or "make some flashes about catholics", or "lets piss 'em off". I mean, hell, I can take a joke, but damn Wade.

I still think he meant it as a joke. I would laugh if he put up an anti-athiest page but athiest aren't the issuse here, catholics are. I'd agree that not every catholic is evil maybe 1.23% of them are, but not the whole group in general.

im cathlic. although i nvr go to church. i trust my priest. but now were gettin a new priest. im only 14. damn i aint ever gonna go there. i aint an alter boy either and nvr was so i dont think anyting would happen. and yes it is odd that the bishop would do that. damn!!! hit and run man, Hit And Run. thats just wrong.

Did I give the impression that the joke offended me? I found it pretty funny to tell you the truth. I only pointed out the page 2 thing to show that the mood chaged a bit. Mobilizing people to make flashes and exploit bad generalizations is one thing, but a few jokes are ok. I think it's when people stop being able to laugh at themselves is when they start goin' crazy, :P.

Sons of Islum is the only group based in the states that I know of, who are born and raised in america that openly support terrorism. Catholics are a easy target, they've killed millions in the past for not believeing like them, which makes them easier to hate for some people.

some priest are good they are devoted to God.. they serve there peole according to the bible..but some priest dont follow what God say..they are good in making homily but opposite action..i know some of that priest..coz Im a Christian..

Especially seeing as witches are actually good people in touch with nature and so on and so forth. In fact his line in the bible "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" was origionally "Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live" but King james who got the bible translated into english was very anti witchcraft and lumped the two together.

haha yeah in fact in one of the topics about growing up in a christian world it actually says that people will be judged by their deeds, not by weather they went to church, or confession... just good people.
