I love it all! the re-design is so much easier to use, lets hope that those lagging bugs are killed

My favorite would be the overall look of the site and how much better it is. The only problem, other then the already clicked on bug in the flash portal is: REVIEWS DONT WORK, YOU DONT SEE IN PROFILE AND THEY DONT ADD UP.

The re4design is awesome Tom! You really have out-done it this time! I really must give ALL credit to you! You are smart, and handsome too (Or so your Grandmother tells me...)!

I'm typing this in a text document and I'm going to paste it here, because that ghost type lag on the typing post screen drives me nuts.

Things I love:

-User pages.
-User blogs.
-The whole much more updated profile.
-The audio portal media player thing. (Might want to add some new things to that media player though, it will get old after awhile.)
-The aura choices.
-The angry face that yells "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?! BLAAAAH MMM".
-The staff page.
-A lot of the level icons are nice.

Things I hate:

-Removing animation from sigs, come on guys give it back. The forum's just aren't the same without the stick sigs and snowy sigs. :(
-The NG mag looks so outdated now.
-A few of the level icons don't seem too exciting. Like some of them are really detailed, and others are really bland. Also. many of them seem to be out of order. Like, I don't think a monkey wrench is going to beat a hammer. Or a lolipop is going to beat a plunger. Hmm.
-The Tomohak is a shit level.
-I don't see any new secrets.
-I miss the elboarte animated portal banner.
-THE POST SCREEN LAG.

I'm sure there's many more things I could post to love and complain about, but it's just all so overwhelming. I'm sure you guys will smooth stuff over. Thanks for all of the hard work Tom, Ross, liljim, stamper, Utah, Mike, Tim, Wade, bob, and whoever else I don't recall at this time.

I tried it with IE and the post form is the same on that.

For some reason, I can't see my own and other people's banners on their user pages, and I have no idea why.

My favorite thing is actually the black around the movies, which is great for the contrast (better than the gray at least).
The thing I don't like is the NG.MAG. What really changed here? It's still a bit of an underutilized part of NG. It needs more attention (more so from the users than from the NG crew). But I really enjoy previews, so I'm probably alone in this :P

Everytime I visit a page, then go back to it expecting to see it updated with new BBS posts or whatever... I hafta hit the refresh button to see whats new

Yeah, something like this maybe, an extra dropdown on the uploader:

* Entry Size (AutoDetect/Custom Size)

* Entry Height [___________]

* Entry Width [___________]

(entry height and width would be grayed out unless you choose custom size)

Well if you really want to know the part I love the most are the new levels, even Pimp has a long way to go now, and the worst part for me is the B/P ranks, because now the Elite Guard Barracks is Elite Guard for no real reason.

Favourite: Audio pages and Profile
Least favourite: Loss of my star sig :(

Bug: Most the Rankings pages are missing

I like the whole layout. The Flash-Portal is more user-friendly and I like it when you start a flash it embeds in the page. Great job keep it up and cheers !

Anyone else agree that the levels are seriously out of place? Level 4 is a boxing glove! Makes no sense to me. And it's sad that I'm not a level 1 anymore...but I kept my lollipop! And congrats to everyone who worked on the AP and the user pages, amazing. When will animated sigs be possible?

BTW when I deposited my exp for the day I was readin how much I needed to reach level 13 and it told me 1600 MORE... I checked and my exp is 1,370 / 1,600 so maybe we need to rephrase that eh?

I think the site is just awsome with all the new upgrades done to it i have yet to find something rong

i put this in the other news about the redisine and hopefully you read at least one of these. the new gameing window dosnt fit on the screen. icant scroll down so there is no way to see the lower part of the screen i cant even push the start button on some games because it is in the lower half

my favorite part of the redesign would HAVE to be either the level icons or the user pages. They both kick ass!

Portal buddies isn't working and its a very important feature.

The re-design is really good, it kind of gives Newgrounds more class. Too bad most of the submissions don't. Ha Ha.

The only thing I don't like is there is a size limit when submitting flashes. I know there is an optional pop-up for the games/movies already on Newgrounds, but any new material has to be like 575 px. in hieght. I like the black "theatrical" look, but some project require a bigger space.

Other than that it's all gravy.

Yea I had a few problems at first of the pages loading but it was fixed. Still it is a good redesign, thanks to all of NG crew

Why does that matter so much to you? The level icons have been weird, I don't think this is the type of complaints Tom is looking for. I think he wants more to do with performance and overall user friendly aspects of the new site.

You are most likely noticing plenty of lag as the pages load, as well as images and other files simply not loading. This is not because the new NG is too bulky - it is the result of remaining server bugs. I can assure everyone the new layout is MUCH more lightweight in terms of download size and total images, so once everything is being served out properly, pages should load faster than ever.

Thanks guys, already it is running SO much better this morning than it was last night. The text lag is gone, hurrah, and the pages are loading as fast as ever!

We're making note of the issues. We'll be looking into the laggy post form, white screens for banned forum users, visited Portal link colors, AP page numbers and a ton of other little odds and ends.

The portal links changing colour is the one little thing that is still bothering me, but I'm happy in the knowledge that you are on to it.

Also, now that everyone has had a chance to look around, tell us what your FAVORITE part of the redesign is. And as much as I hate to invite bad news, tell us what your LEAST FAVORITE part is, too... Unless you just LOVE IT ALL, which is fine by me. :)

What can I say, I love all of it! The new shininess of everything, the new profile pages (I love the news posts and how you have made them so far removed from the dreaded myspace), the new levels (of course, who doesn't love them?), how easy things are to load in the portal, and the fact I don't need new pages to view flash and then review. There is so much more, but I'll be here all day!

As for least favourite, the removal of Elite Guard from the B/P ranks is kind of sad... yeah, that's it!

Well actually Tom I love it all. Not trying to ass kiss or anything but I'm just not a sore bitch about things. I seriously do like it all. The only thing that I hate (which I'm sure you are aware of) is how slow the text appears when I'm typing my posts. I freggin' hate how slow it takes to appear on the screen right now.

Ok, I like the new look of the web site but I tried changing some stuff in my account, I confirmed my password but a message popped up telling me that my password needs characters and numbers in it, my password has 3 words and no numbers. As a result I can't change stuff in my account.

Ooh, this is hard. Okay, my favorite part is the COMPLETE revamp of the audio portal, as I frequent that place quite a bit for music. The least favorite is only the ultra lag.

I love the user pages and the overall new look.

Still the fact that there's no "Edit Post" button for the forums is a little frustrating. I mean this is like a neccessity for forums and it is used for fixing typos.

Typos are bound to happen so an edit button saves the embarassment of typing "ass" instead of "add".
