I guess its about time to start my own tread of art from Ani-x
Ani-x is:
NokWon
SeoulSnake

and between the 2 of us we basically work in almost every media of art.
From animation to Guitars. cardboard or style sheets, lol
Good and Horible. BUT mostly the Unfinished.
Lets start.

old pic,around 1999, this would be the back of aold sketch book of mine, the girl is meomi from I's "Video Girl Ai" i cant remember why i drew it on there, the book to this day (almost 8 years old know) still has many blank pages.

Having fun with Copic Markers.
Old Manga pic i drew years and years ago to test out a Bujisho (sp) style dog .
My main concern was capturing the right kinda "puppy dog" eyes with out going to showy or sad looking..

yeah something spilled on it...it happens.

This one is more new.
About a year or so old, It is a lame joke i did out of boredom .
The Basic of it is bassed off "GoonZu Online" a MMO game.
There is actually a animation im working on revolving around goonzu online, ill post some up from it in a sec.

Here would be a Char from the Animation "Gonnzu: the Zeus Files"
This is one of the main Char "Geisha" who is the top horse trainer, she plays the roll of the mentor to the lead Character "ROCKofMAGES"

scaled the quality down some so it fits

DIGITAL drawling of the very beautiful Julie.
This was done a believe a little over a year ago.
One of the few pieces i did fully in photoshop

gave it a nice dark SADO/Visual kai style

I have done Manga Novel style before.
To be honest not really allot of time anymore to just sit and do em, but i would like do it all again.
back about 6 years ago i did a small comic called "steel roses" if i find anything from it ill post it up ^^

Here is anoughter one, this time Kaori.
I really did loose the bigger view of it, it was done with photoshop or maybe paint.net (i play around with alot of programs)

Yeah i think that is alot of ppl. I think it has something to do with just practice, If you think about it, most ppl draw there whole life, or a good part of it. And only have a few years experience with digital CG. so its only natural to have perfected one over the other.
although is pretty much the same basics, only difference is you look at a screen and not your hand, and cant move the tablet around like you can paper. But muscle memorie takes over and makes it unatural
I have 2 Tablets my self, intuos and graphire
I like the smaller graphire best. although the intuos is really great for certain things, i prefer the graphire for its size and non burning my lap effect.

Sketch i did with the graphire, showing some one fast steps to drawling.

Pretty good though I'm not a fan of anime. I like the last one the most.

Here is something a bit more my own personal style of animation.
More of a modern day Kunoichi (female ninja) i drew for the ninja tread a little wile ago.
I truly didn't spend to much time on it, and don't really like it at all. but i like the design and out fit.
(and i love female ninja's)

For teh guitar players out there.
Here is one of my Custom guitars, this is is Titled "Jumper"
It a reverse Rising sun with a Jumper, and 4 mustang Planes.

This started its life as a standard ESP strat, UNI routed body (alder) and is in the process right now of being "relic"
This is a one of a kind for this design, the original features custom routed Floyd tremol, custom pick guard, neck and inlay design..
This is one of the many "Nu-Japan" series line i will have out soon.
GS line and SS should be done by the end of the year.

Modern Fuu wallpaper.
I did this a wile back, really it was only ment as a paper for my own screen, but every one that seen it wanted it. so it finaly made its way to Animepapers and has some ridiculous over rated success on my deviant art.

This is Fuu from samurai champloo, But i modernized her to what she would look like now a days.
Basic face and structure of her, Color scheme matching with that of the anime.
Generic ass background.

Something i did yesterday for my NG profile page.
its part of a bigger pic i drew the day before, if i get time finish it, ill post it.

I chose this art as my main because out of all the styles and things i do, this is the one i can call my own.
Every artiest has there own style and art, way they do things that can identified at first look.
Maybe not the most original style out there, but its what im most confy with

as you see, my sketching is very very light,
that is importaint because you are working ona grey scale, with your hardest line being the darkest, or black, and the lightest being next to white.

working in between the darkest to lightest is how you start to define shapes and contours, instead of just drawling lines, or blending the led, its more of a contouring shading.

Also using different directions to make certain textures.

I am right handed, so i work left to right, even the slightest rub can really ruin the whole piece.
altho i do flip the sketch pad around allot, my self personally has to shade it mostly from head on, else i loose my dept perception
