does tagging authors as favorites actually do anything? I was thinking that taggings an author would send you an email when tagged person submitted something new. Either this isn't the case, or the 20 or so people I tagged are lazy bastards.

I'm loving the fact that when u have new email u can SEE it beside the inbox word at the top now - that was one of the things I wanted changed a while back ^^

also I dunno if this has been mentioned already, but a size increase to at least 5 megs for an audio song would be much appreciated - even with vbr you can only whittle lets say.. a 6 min song down so much..

The A-bot addition looks killer. I just wish that there was the old gold, platinum and diamond thing again with the page listing the 50 or 30 latest tracks from the artist, instead of that one page, one track, one headache thing. I hope they put that back because it was much less complicated and it was sooooo many less clicks. The visualizations are awesome and run lag free so its sort of a win lose situation at the moment i guess.

The reason they don't have gold/platinum/whatever is because we can upload CD art, and mass downloads.

If you want to get to the next page you can just add /2 after the URL, like [http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/list/3/

and totally agree with it

All that I've noticed:

-Ability to see your reviews is disabled, both on your page and on your account options thing.

-Ability to see other people's reviews is disabled.

-The "More recent submissions" and "More all-time best submissions" (or whatever it's called) don't do anything

-Still no deleting.

-Loss of the platinum track stuff.

-Uploading doesn't work in Safari.

-You can only view the first page of submissions in each section, there are no page jumps to my knowledge.

-I miss the old ng. :(

i really love the graphics that plays when the songs are being played. It makes listening less bland and boring.

Me, too. Although I am starting to enjoy a couple of the new features, like the full userpage (even if it is a watered-down version of a myspace page) But yeah, I told myself a long time ago that I was going to respond to EVERY review, and even before the change, it was kind've difficult to do, seeing as though my number of reviews has spiked this past year. Now it's impossible. I'd have to look at every single song page every single day, and I really hate that. I feel detached from my listeners, and before the change, that was all the NG Audio Portal had going for it - convenience and direct communication with listeners. They took both away...

Suggestions for the Audio Portal

--Make it so that we are able to delete our crappy music. I know I have a list of those

--Let us edit our songs that were submitted before the redesign so that we can upload album art to them

--I preffered to stream the music from your main Audio Page instead of clicking every individual song

--Make an option where you can look at your song statistics such as: List number of downloads, number of views, number of submissions used in and number of reviews. Have it so that we can be kept updated of new reviews, new submissions our songs were used in and so on. Just like the updates in DeviantArt or SheezyArt.

--Bring in some Audio Portal rewards just like those you get for flash movies? Such as weekly 1-5 and so on.

--Make a looping player that plays one of your songs at random on your Audio Page [Like the ParagonX9 flash loop player on the previous AP]. It might also come in playing the most popular ones OR ones of your choice.

My biggest concern right now, there is no way to flag songs?! I've found somebody who blatantly steals all his work, doesn't even deny it, yet there is no way to report him.

Submitted my great first audio submission about six hours ago but it's still waiting for a moderator approval... It says that it would happen fairly and quickly but nothing happened yet!

I've found a bug of sorts.

I tried voting on a song of mine, but it said the next NG Day started in 12 seconds. Fine, I waited 12 seconds. But when I tried again, it said that I already voted today and the next day starts in 24 hours! And my vote didn't get recorded! gahh!

I have experienced that problem at least thrice thus far. I don't rightly know why it does that, but it assumes I voted on ALL of my pieces...

Also the post about getting an email per new review is NECESSARY in my opinion. I'm tired of having to click through enough links to kill a small elephant.
