AH! Happen to you? I bump onto my own audio page here and there to see if anything has changed. So of course, now that everything has changed I decide to jump on over there. Due to my incredible luck I cannot get into "My Account". So I just simply type my name into the search box for the audio portal and hit...well...search :D. What happens? Well its says this sweet little innocent message..."Your search for Cosmos8942 has produced 0 matches...blahblah"...
...
...
...
wait...
...WHAT?!
Lol, I am sure that the newgrounds staff is still loading up the rest of the newgrounds profiles...so I am not worried...yet...but still that kinda gave me a heart attack T.T, I SWEAR! I NEARLY DIED! XP

First off...pardon the second post in a row here...
EDIT from the previous post...
Haha nevermind nevermind :D...after some crafty searching through of the audio portal...I managed to find my account...still...I hope they get all the bugs and such worked out soon...but as with everything...that takes time^^.
All in all...with what I can see (and anybody else), this new look ain't half bad...ain't half bad at all.

Just when I thought the AP couldn't get any worse... ta-da!! It does! I'm about sick of this site. Confusing new layout that doesn't resemble ANYTHING I've grown used to for the last 4 years, worse song layout, no more gold/platinum/diamond track pride, too many clicks to get music, useless Best of All Time chart, and not one single change that WE SUGGESTED.... Damn it all to hell.

THIS FORUM THING IS WACK, DOOD.
totally hates it, because he hates change, however I'll probably get used to it but the old BBS was nice n' efficient.
Then there's the voting more than once on your songs now.
Anyone else expect to see a lot of 4.90-ishs now?
Though the impending delete feature is a GODSEND.

I don't quite like the CD graphics for the tracks. I'm WAY too used to seeing teh smexy vinyl records.
I hope there will be audio rewards now! Though I doubt anybody is going to get any rewards if they are the same caliber as Flashes. Even Paragon doesn't have a quartermillion listens i'm sure.

Finally get to use my load of abstract icons for my songs though... is there any way of adding icons to the song after it has been submitted or do I have to wait for a new feature?

One thing that I noticed is that the audio tracks that didn't seem to play before work. I had one track that had the notorious problem of not being able to listen to it (you could download it only), but now it plays.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with the redesign.

Yep. Click on the view all reviews on your song and it will open a page where you can respond and view all your reviews on that song.
One thing that bothers me a bit about the redesign is that the site just runs farly slow for me. Typing in text right now is lagging for me. Although it is still damn sexy :D

Personally I love the single view page that is just like the FP...but maybe that's just me haha. The slide bar and visualizations are awesome of course. I also really like the reviews being on the page. Will definitely encourage people to review audio more.

The single page view is nice, however, it ticks me off that I can't download without going to each song's individual page! >:(

Suggestion:
When you look at the new submissions, it doesn't tell what genre the song is. Unless you click on the song and look at their profile. I wish it would tell you the genre next to the song, like before the site was updated.

Also, whatever happened to streaming songs straight from the genre list?
It seems that as we got some really cool new features, we lost some of the more helpful old features. :\

Well maybe now that you don't know what kind of song it is you will be more curious to give it a listen and have more of an open mind ;)
What is getting to me is that the site does run slow and as I am typing this it is lagging like a mother fucker >=(

Actually, when you open up the song, it's right under File Information. Took me a while to notice too.

I think it's you ;) You have to click to read all reviews or something for each individual song.

wtf :( Man, this sucks. I don't think I want to submit to NG anymore. I'll take a few days to cool down I guess.

The redesign was definitely a valiant effort...but so far, it seems to be worse than before. My newest submission was getting straight 5's from people with almost no experience (me included), while a single downrater had enough experience to completely throw off the balance,...I figured I could even things out with another vote today...but the annoying "you have already voted on this submission today" messages are back from the last iteration of the AP! If we can't vote every day, at least get rid of that message and stop raising my hopes for nothing >.<.
To make things worse, that 0-rater knocked me off of the front page of the genre....and I can't find any way of navigating to the next page! Either that has been implemented yet or the interface is very unclear...and that's no good for anyone who isn't consistently on the first page.

I like the new voting system, mostly because I have a high voting power. I like it though because it gives those who have been around for a while more power in deciding whether the song is bad or not. I haven't checked the YOU CAN ONLY VOTE ONCE EVER thing yet, but I'm about to.

It sure seems that way...if you ask me, the best way to deal with the problem is just single out the obvious pattern and consider it abuse--posting audio, then giving high-rated audio several 0's in a row. Much easier to ban the violators than try to shape the entire system around them, and then with them gone, restore the 1 vote for 1 person system.
