to be honest I kinda use all three.
I use the eraser technique the most, as it's the easiest way to recolor it.

ya i use the eraser alot to or when im puting details on i do it pixel by pixel with the pencil

It's not bad but work on his outline, his arms and wings look like they are connected somewhat. And other parts of his body look a bit odd. So Try to mkae the outline a bit better and it should be pretty good.
