Anyone who knows much about computers and what it all means I need your help.
I'm looking for a cheap laptop to run WoW, with a price range of $1000 or less. I can go higher but not to exceed $1200. I was looking around and kept get confused by things like intergrated is not as good. What is intergrated and what's better than that. Just something that i can run the game on medium and around 60 fps.
Here are the base game requirements:
Windows® System 98/ME/2000/XP OS:
800 MHz or higher CPU.
256 MB or more of RAM.
32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware Transform and Lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better.
4 GB or more of available hard drive space.
DirectX® 9.0c or above.
A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection.
Thank you for your help.

Lemme guess.. You're going on vacation. You can't bring your desktop PC with you. The only solution to get your warlock to level 60 is to buy a Laptop, install WoW on it and stay at McDonald's all day for their wifi connection.
Am I right?

Seriously, why would you spend $1000 to play WoW. I wouldn't spend a cent for that crap.

I mean, I like WoW and everything. But, I wouldn't buy a whole entire new system for specifically playing it.
Unless, you were introduced to the game by a pal or something like that, and you don't actually have your own system to play it yet.
Ps. Dell XPS's are decently priced, and play it just fine.

I was more suggesting a computer he could buy so when he does grow out of the game he could have a nice computer for homework and possibly work someday.

Because Dell rocks.
Dell sucks, they die quicker, and they are near to impossible to fix correctly without it screwing something else up.

That's why you send them away to the dell technical support and don't try to fix them yourself.

No no. Dell sucks because they are money hungry. But, if you had any sense of computer technician skills at ATLEAST a novice level you wouldn't have a problem installing your new memory stick. Now would you? Don't try to fix things if you can't.
It is hard to FIX a dell only because they constantly reccomend you come to their stores to spend hundreds of dollars when all you had was a loose cable. Not to mention you destroy your warrenty on certain systems once you "Open the Case". Yeeeea, that's Dell for you. It does not change the fact that they are DECENTLY prepared PC's for anyone that doesn't have all the time for researching and putting together their own home made tower.

You should name this "Cheap laptop to pay to be gay".
But seriously, if you want a cheap computer you have to go wholesale, buy it in parts or get a factory second ( you might not care if the case of your laptop has a scratch ).
I got mine wholesale but I'd go second because a cosmetic flaw doesn't matter when it can drop the price by $500.

If that's the case you should have enough answers from people now to look into it yourself and make an informed choice.

Well those specs are actually too low. I had a 64MB graphics card, 512 RAM, and some other stuff better than that and I was getting a shitty framerate and slow load times. I'd suggest go with at least 1gb of ram, a 256mb GFX card, and a 1.8GHz processor.
