Why must every single narrowminded asshole that play Guild Wars or World of warcraft bash runescape? Hmmm Runescape doesnt have as big a budget but they do have over 10 million active players 1million member players and for some people its intresting.... But still you decided you have to be a dick and say a game that many of us ( even if we dont admit it ) love i could easily say wow is only for the hardcore fags who live in there basement and have no friends were runescape is more casual jump on play 10 minutes and get something done.... Runescape isn't honestly that casual anymore.

I know this one kid that gave up a lot of his life trying to get level 99 in all his skills for skill capes.

Also, Runescape could be a lot better, because they make a lot of money off of it. However, they don't update it much, since they don't need to. They still get players. So they gobble up money like crazy. Even on free players. Those advertisements get them money whenever somebody loads it up on their computer.

World of Warcraft is similar, in terms of how much people play like mad. There's just so much involved in trying to stay on top.

However, Guild Wars is different. No monthly payment, and the max level is 20. Most of the game is all about skill. Once you hit level 20 you can still find new equipment, but all it does is make you look cool or only have slight boosts.

You cannot compare Guild Wars players with World of Warcraft players.

I have tried both, and World of Warcraft gets people just as obsessed as Runescape.

Game Freak i hate to tell you your wrong but in some degree you are runescape has minor updayes around every three days *a new quest mabye a new minor item or monster* then every month they usually come up with something new for the UI *User Interface* Mabye a button to select what items to keep when you die... Then about every Three months or so there is a major city update that makes them look better and usually along with that there is a engine update so they can expand more... And graphics is not everything and the proof is there are still hundreds of people who play runescape classic... Or how about the people who preffer old pacman over new pacman.... All in all better graphics doesnt always mean better play.
