Wow, nice colours. I really like the second one, more so than the first. That'd look nice as a massive canvas, hung up somewhere around the house.

Haha thank you :D
Here's something I made for my friend Tyler. The original picture was him as a kid.

Ha thanks :D
Yeah, HIS left hand fucked up. I didn't shake the can well enough so it was all watered down and bled under the stencil :(

Because, I'm currently finishing other art. The 10 stencils will be for my friends for Christmas, because I'm poor. Also, I'll get paid in December, so I can buy more materials. I'm currently out of paint and I need an exacto-knife. This scalpel is getting dull :(

True, but I don't even have enough money to get my shit printed. The prints I get are 34 cents per sheet. They are 11in x 17in.
All the money I have goes to lunch, which I'm at my last 4 dollars xD
Yeah, that's my giant list of excuses.

I plan on doing more, multi-layered ones soon.
They are expensive, but there's various graffiti supply sites out there, which do nice deals on paint. You can get like 12 cans in a pack. There's others as well, but one should keep you going nicely.
Holy crap. I love your style. These are awesome.
What pieces and artists do you take inspiration from? Just curious.

Whoa! Thank you :D That REALLY means a lot.
My main influence is my imagination, if that counts. My favorite artist is John Kricfalusi (the guy who made Ren & Stimpy)
I feel like your drawings could be a little more tightened up, i completely understand the sketchiness is purposeful style, but it seems a little to sketchy, like a little over the line from style to half-assed (not that it's bad i love the picture, just a suggestion)
And also i completely level with you on the lack of paint issue, if i couldn't mooch off of my work for supplies i'd get nowhere. Go to mtncolors.com (or something like that google it) Montana spray paint is pretty much the best paint out there, and off of thier site the prices aren't to bad (about 5.25 a can) and you can get pretty much any color can think of in various values. They're paint is awesome you should look into it
guess what i still haven't seen slippery? Stencils! You're breaking my heart man
ps: it's interesting your new stuff seems to be gravitating towards a more abstract style

Ah yeah, Ive been in a bit of a "fuss" with my life and such, no time or money, ever, to let my mind wander to stencils yet. I'm sorry, I do aspire to do more, I think I'll tackle multi-layered stencils soon.
Thanks :D I don't know... recently got in a bit of a struggle, well if you want to call it that, of where I wanted to take my art.
Looking at realism and how amazing it is and how much, as cliche and sad as this sounds, it hurt knowing that I currently can't attain the disciplined skill of the masters. I then forced my self to try over and over again, never seeing much improvement.
I came to the realization that art can't me rushed or forced, it has to come naturally. The more I forced myself and the more I starved for the prowess of such pristine art, I began to not have fun anymore, art wasn't art, it was a burden.
I then remembered that I always had an amazing time drawing whatever and however I wanted. Drawing and creating art just because is what I truly love.
I'm not saying that guidance and defining your skills is a bad thing, but realism, to me, isn't what I want, nor is color theory, anatomy, and the restrictions of "perfection".
So, yeah, I guess it's a fairly obvious realization, but I had to see it my way.
ha ha i think everybody goes through that stage at some point :) I certainly know i can't draw realisstically to save my life, i still try and get better at it form time to time, but once you realize your strengths and weaknesses and stop trying to be the best at everything, that's when the fun starts
I dunno, I think your color choices are awesome! They're sorta like the opposite of what you'd expect to see based on the actual 'subject' and line use... the contradiction makes it that much more appealing to me.
Hope things get settled for you so you can post moar good stuffz!! :D
