Ladies and gentelmen. I have run out of fingernail. lol, not all the way,but all my fingers are stubs with little nails now basically. You cant chew them. So i decided id start chewing the skin around them. Ive been working on my thumbnail for a while. And just a second ago i got most of it off and now my god damn fingers bleeding! This isnt spam, i just need to have some suggestions of what to do. I dont want my fingernail to fall off.

Stop chewing on your fingernails. Try wrapping your fingertips in duct tape to discourage yourself from gnawing on them.

I used to have that problem and I still chew my fingernails occasionally. It's a horrible habit but I've learned to stop chewing after I run out of nail. It's pretty painful to type when you chew off all the skin on the tips of your fingers...

I do that skin too, but thats not what im talking about. Im talking about the skin that is on the finger nail. It like holds it there or something. heh

You mean like when you tear the nail off and have that little flap of skin there? That's some pretty gross stuff.
It'll grow back though, but it's gonna hurt like hell if you put any pressure on the area. I actually did that a few days ago, but that thing was more of a hangnail. I still have some dried blood there and it's really disgusting. I really have to stop chewing my nails like this...

Its at the absolute bottom of your finger nail. :p

*shudders*
That's even worse. I'm going to go stare at Japanese cartoons until I get a seizure now, just to get that mental image out of my head... Ugh...

Did i mention it was the bottom of the surface?

Bottom of the surface of what? I'm just getting more confused here. I've only ripped off a few hangnails. It sounds like you're in the process of gnawing off your whole goddamn hand!

The fingernail of course.

That makes more sense than I'd like to admit. Oh well, how many more hours of chewing until you start to look like a War Amp?

whats war amp?

They're like amputees or something. Think stubs for arms. Do your fingers hurt yet or are you imprevious to pain? I can only imagine how much that would hurt for me...
I sure as hell hope you're not flexible enough to start chewing on your toenails. Now, that would be even worse than what you're doing now...

Dude it doesnt hurt at all. Any way ive chewed my toenails many times before. Nasty though bro, all toe nail dirt and shit. lol

That's just wrong. On so many levels. Oh well, have you ever thought about neatly clipping your nails instead of chewing at them until your fingers turn into a bloody pulp? I always find I'm only tempted to chew my nails when they're getting really long so I started doing that a while ago. Which reminds me, where the hell did I put that nail clipper?

Here, use this one!

I dont have the will power for that...

I still say the duct tape idea works better. Especially if you get the kind with the glue that tastes really bad. I've never tried that though. I'm trying to get used to not biting my nails at all without having to use stuff like hot sauce, duct tape or some bizarre combination of the two...

Point taken. Try using that clear nail polish stuff that makes your fingernails indestructible. You couldn't break your nails with a hammer and chisel after that...

I was just thinking... how would you hold the chisel if you had the hammer in your hand?

Wait a sec... That's right! Oh well, I don't know. What could you operate with one hand that has immense fingernail destructing capabilities?
A miniature jackhammer, perhaps...

I stopped chewing my nails when I got braces. They're off now and I still don't chew on them.
I don't know how this will help you, but what the hell.
Maybe get something else to chew on. Get a mouthpiece for sports or something, and bite down really hard when you think about biting your nails.
