As the years have gone by, I'm yet to meet a more consistent and reliable voice actress in the field of flash animation. Especially considering this is volunteer work, she's showcased an awe-inspiring level of dedication, which few have come close to.

While I'd like to see her take more risks in playing more accented, and possibly even elderly characters, she's come a very long way from her earlier work, and her range is quite broader than most are aware of. Probably even moreso than she's aware of.

How how her abilities are utilized in animation, is of course, at the discretion of respective flash producers, though it should be quite clear that if she wasn't delivering what people asked of her, she wouldn't be under such high demand.

Any voice actor who turns down a paying role they've earned through an audition screening process, is a blithering idiot. No actor is required to like the production they're cast in. It's a business, and money is money.

Oh wait, that IS her and even Johnny Young Bosch commented with "How come you know how to do those? Because those are really hard" and another of the judges commenting "she's like a pro".

I know Kagome personally. She is a very sweet and caring (not to mention very attractive) woman. She's been doing VA for since before I met her and she's only been getting better and better. She has a very wide range of voices (she honestly does a better english naruto then the current naruto VA) and like some one else mentioned earlier, she does a damn SEXY faye.

So to the OP, get off your worthless high horse trash ass and actually THINK before you make a post, ESPECIALLY one that attempts to flame a loved and very good voice actress here at newgrounds.

Kagome created the VAC with some given voice actor inspiration. I'm not quite sure if it was just Kagome from Inuyasha that sparked this but I still remember coming in the brink of it's popularity while it was still a Proboards site. (Yes, having about two hundred members is considered popularity on Proboards)

Anyways, I don't know what people are bitching about with microphone quality... I thought it was quite good. Ever heard a hum from her microphone? Ever heard a noticable amount of static? I doubt it.

Anyway, she did not have any prior training as far as I know and sort of started and just tried to improve as she went... but it became hard as she was bothered to do the same voice each time. For those who didn't really ask for the same voice, she's gotten into the habit of assuming "they hired me... I suppose this is why." It is but a gift and a curse and directors should get off their ass and do something about it!
Getting to the point, there ARE people more talented than her with lots of years of training (like Tinker Jet who is self-taught and currently has about eight years of solid practice and only about three years ago got her first gig. But she still does free work and does half-decently. She refuses to have any voices sound the same with the acception of Tails in Sonic things and Jupiter in Sailor Moon... but don't know about you... they sound pretty alike to me!)

But the idea is that she started fairly recently and has yet to get more practice since directors hardly ever listen to her demo. If you want to direct, you'd best ask her for other voices. It WOULD keep it from getting "stale". I too feel that the voice gets overused but I don't blame Kagome and I know that her range is much more vast than that.

If you would talk to her though, I'm sure you'd find that not only is she a decent voice actress, she is a great friend and an amusing aquaintence if you just want to keep it at that. Oh, and she is amazingly reliable and provides great quality sound.
