on the n64 their was this game called "shadows of the empire"
and their is a sewer level with these octopuse things and you have to go underwater and kill them. those scared me at first sighting.

but the main boss is really scary.
its a giant tentecal like creature. I think its an octopuse sitting on the ground. Its a giant,
it scares the hell out of me.

These things from Quake 1 used to freak me out now and then. The monsters in Marathon (Mac 1994, or 1995) would scare me now and then, too. Then again, I was only 8 or so.

I agree with the host of this bulletin. The regenerators from Resident Evil 4 are scary bastards. I beat that game 5 times and they still scare me with that weird ass breathing sound they make.
