Seriously, why do some christians feel the need to push they're faith onto others.

I was in town a couple of days ago and there was this dude, stood on a pedastal, preaching the apocalypse and stating the only solution is the way of god...Gimme a break.

I was also reading about a band with references to the satanic in their latest album (Akercocke, Antichrist). They went on a northern Irish show, expecting to have decent, upstanding debates with christian folk, but were instead shouted down and found themselves explaining rather than debating.

Christians are so uptight about other religions.

They make me sick. Im proud to be atheist.

Jesus doesn't point a gun to anyone's head and says, "Accept me!" People are free to make their decision as what to believe. It is the Christian's job to transform him/herself to be as loving and true to Christ so that people may want to learn more about Him - those guys you just referred to are doing an absolutely horrible job.

In the end, I can't blame you for being an atheist. I just hope that you meet genuine, or at least, more mature Christians someday - from there, meaningful discussions can take place.

I do get annoyed when someone saids something isn't really/possible and can't prove it and usally the samething goes for people who say things are real and can't prove it.

I barely ever see an atheist try and convert someone to be atheist. I see loads of christians (but not all) pushing their religions onto people or saying stuff like "You'll go to hell if you don't do this" or just completely insult you for disagreeing with them.
