how do i convert a .psd image?

First, read this, then open up your image in Photoshop.

Then go to file>save as and where it says .psd in the dropdown menu choose jpg or jpeg

that said just open the file in photoshop and fo to file then save for web there you can choose what you want to save it as and the quality too.
