That site is related to the movie, slusho is a codename for it. You can also see someone wearing a slusho t-shirt in the trailer. http://store.slusho.jp/
Now.. the monster doesnt have to be 100% originally thought up by him to be something completely new.
My theory is related to something you can find named "bloop"
The monster will be called Trunko.
Which supposedly is larger than a blue whale and made the mysterious bloop sound.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloop
Why do i think this? If you look at slusho and real everything well, it mentions "whale" a lot. And even has a direct quote saying "Slusho is Bloop."
And also.... well... there is another quote saying "Slusho is people."
So soylent green??? :-O

A. If you think it could be a lion because of the trailer, listen carefully. He says 'it's alive! It's huge!'.
B. No, it isn't zoltron. D=<
Damn it all, I am terrible at this sort of thing. I always wait until someone solves a puzzle and says how to do it so that I can do it for myself. It's kind of insightful thinking how a movie can do this sort of thing nowadays.

A. Nope, I just like lions. The alias might be an indication. ;)
Really though, I just want to see a giant mammal monster other than a bloody gorilla for once. :P
B. Could always be the Megazord. Maybe it's a Power Rangers movie. ;)

Awww. Too bad the puzzles have nothing to do with the entire film. =3

That would be super cool. =O

Neither can I. It looks like it will be very good.
PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE ETHAN HAAS WEBSITES. THEY ARE JUST SHOWING OFF FOR A NEW GAME.
Just wanting to say that this site is associated with the movie. I know people have posted it in the pages before me but really, I doubt anyone is reading all the pages. =/
Unless if they want every bit of info and possiblity of and for the film.

All we can really do is wait until 2008 and let the film be released unless if you get info about it, then post it here!

I'm off in a bit so I just had to say,
HEY GUYS. Have any of you flipped over the photos on the cloverfield site?
Shake a photo with the cursor and it'll flip over. (Or just the top photo which is the photo with the chef)
http://www.1-18-08.com/
Could this be a link between cloverfield and slusho? http://www.slusho.jp
If not, what is it?
Also, I've provided an image to show you that I ain't bullshitting.
HOW TO FLIP A PHOTO:
All photos are flippable.
Shake it while you're holding it with your cursor to see the other side and shake your cursor again to get it back onto the photo side.
You can only have one photo flipped at a time so after looking at the messages on the back, you'll need to flip it over and then move it out of the way to make room to flip the others.

It's a good thing you keep bumping this topic, people wouldn't post in it otherwise!
TAKEN FROM IMDB:
A person can be seen wearing a Slusho t-shirt in the movie trailer. It's visible when he leans toward the camera to ask if anything can be seen from the roof after watching the news broadcast. Slusho is a drink from J.J. Abrams' show "Alias" (2001) as well as this film's codename. Slusho is also a Japanese drink.
It could be possible that the Slusho website has nothing to do with this film.

Havn't you ever seen it? If not, then that site could still be related to the whole Cloverfield thing.
Check out 'Happy talk' or whatever it's called.
