In all actuality, i had several other ideas 30 seconds after i submitted it, i.e. having a navy-blue face mask instead of grey, a respirator, maybe some decals, etc. etc.

Oh, well. What can i do? I'm not really expecting to win anything.

Yeah, it's really a limitless contest. Countless 2D games to choose from. I'm sure many more impressive entries will be submitted from here 'till the 25th.

You might have done too many shades on the grey earpiece. Try taking two away and place a highlight on the top instead.

Yeah that would be a good idea. You should also try to add some crazy background for the expression.

heres where I'm at taking a breather from blaster master and doing this one from ff6

If any of you gents would please explain to me how you manage to make your drawings look so smooth and crisp I would be forever grateful. Especially how you hit the eyes, as I suck when it comes to drawing eyes, and proper shading.

Because I'm totally in the dark with Flashs' art functions.

I don't think I'm God awful, below is an example of something I did earlier, I just don't know how/when to use the proper tools.

My Dhalsim so far. He's my favorite Street Fighter dude. The skull is going to be redone, but other comments/suggestions are welcome. I took a little liberty when making him, but for the most part it's expanding on the sprite.
