yeah..I'm not that good at trying to draw things exactly the same as something else.

It was exciting and finally got me to draw something again, oh god finally.

I use a dusty wacom, though I absolutely adore working with it in Flash. Doing linearts and colouring things is totally rocking in flash.. though other programs could achieve a much smoother colour-job. Vector ftw.

Any comments on mine? Just submitted in the other thread, I was pretty pleased with the colouring job myself, and I inadvertently changed his outfit a little, but you can't really tell from just the sprite.

by the way its just the sketch, i took the time to actually redesign him, i drew him on paper then traced it with my tablet... its just the base thing, its like 5 % of the real thing

lol, i like it. i especialy love the expression on his face. priceless. the only real problem is that the hands could use some work, but other than that, it's pretty cool.

i think i'm gonna try another one...i'm thinking of something from "secret of evermore." i'm dling a rom right now to rip some sprites. anyone ever play that game? it's sick. snes was damn godly. :)

Looks good so far. The elbow of the arm in the air looks a little too squarish though, maybe it's just me.

Yeah, I thought the hands were kind of messed up to I'll make sure to work on that. About the missing fingers, each hand has only 4 fingers on purpose its the cartoon style in the old Tick cartoons and also in the game.

HAHAHA. ya its a funny story
that was just like random hair i did in the pencil sketch. when i traced it it ended up like that haha, weird! dont worry they're gone in the final one, im almost done with it :P

i was thinking of putting the balls in there but he looks too cute to have those big hairy things ruining the whole drawing hehe.

So Johnny Utah and I were talking and we came to the conclusion that my Guile wasn't cut out for this contest, because I made him not look like a sprite anymore.

So, what I am doing now is trying some digital artwork...

Here is 4+ hours worth of effort.

I give you, VEGA, outline....not ANYWHERE near done.
