Thread. The third annual one. The thread that ends all other threads. Rules (because we have to have some):

DO:

Post at least 5 and up to 15 of your favourite video games in order (favourite first) in this topic.

Choose any games you like from any era you like. Console, PC, arcade, flash, anything goes.

If there's confusion as to what your game is (in the case there's similarly named sequels etc, also thinking about things like Final Fantasy 3/6 here), be clear.

Post before 11am EST on July 13. Thread will be locked then.

PM me with any queries.

DON'T:

Use alts. Obvious use of alts will result in all your votes being discarded.

Post anything other than a list in this thread, your post will simply be deleted. Discussion can take place in the results thread when created.

Post obvious joke lists.

Repeat choices. This includes slight variants which you might think are different games but are not - so Pokemon Diamond/Pearl is one game, Starcraft and Brood War are one game, Half-Life and any of its mods or expansions are one game, anything on the PSP and the Playstation game it was ported from are one game. Basically, if a game you're thinking of posting needs another game to work properly, it's best to post the "mother" game. Similarly, no collections/anthologies.

Not sure for the others, but you do know it's going to be unfair? For example I have never played Gears of war, so it's not there, but half on NG has, becuase they all have 360's.
