oh! ok. no more questions from me, for a while anyways.

i think i should leave that stuff up to gunground, but for now ill go on and make a thread for just my story ideas and if gunground decides to make a thread for all of us, then i guess he can post mine, phantom's,centurian ryan's, and his own stories for raidforce mania on there, after all, he is teh boss of the writers crew.

Ill prolly make seperate threads for all those who are working on this. that way, the more you contribute, the more likely you'll be picked in a random raffle to get a rank up.

good to see that your back :). I thought you quit the club. sry for ignoring you(we didnt think you were there) ya the club is currently working on its first official prodject. The prodject is a collab of how the "admins" cmkinsac and some other guy get into an argument and the forum becomes an all out brawl wth monkey on one side and serpent on another.

I just skimmed through most of the stuff here, but from what I read there's seems to be some interesting stuff/promise here, so:

How many years have you been writing: Uh, no idea? I suppose I have been writing off and on my entire life, since I was about 6 and me and my friend wrote a 100+ page book complete with illustrations about us and all grade 1 classmates (well, the ones we liked at least) playing on an epic imaginary hockey team.

How many flash story's you have written: Many, I just generally lose interest after the writing process and they never seem to be completed.

How many real life story's you have written: Tonnes for school. Other than that I would guess about 10 or so pieces, most being short stories. Generally I am really pleased with what I'm writing while I am in the process of writing it. Then the next day I will look it over, say "This is shit" and toss it in the trash. So, I don't get much done :/

And your name (optional): Joey

Also, FYI, the plural form of story is "stories", not "story's". Just thought that was a little ironic in a writing thread.

A friend in need is a friend indeed, but a friend with weed is better.

Well, I decided I wanted to join a club or crew here on newgrounds, but I've been searching for one that isn't filled with arses, and this seems to be one that I could enjoy.

Well, here are my credentials.

I've been writing from an early age, but I began to seriously write after I won a young author award in fourth grade.

I'm relatively new to the flash scene, so I haven't had a chance to write any worthwhile flash stories, although I've sometimes thought about different ideas for flash movies/games.

I've wrote numerous stories, along with political reviews, and the like.
I mainly do science fiction, fantasy, some alternative-historical fiction.
This past year I scored a perfect score on my writing Standards of Learning test, along with a above average score on my reading.

My real name is Adam McDaniel.

Welcome newcomers :)(wow, like 3 people joined in such a short amount of time). As you may already know, we're currently working on a project on newgrounds with the flash crew. The two black books productions (us) make storys for flash games and movies. Our first official storys was for the very popular game, mobs down as with last survivor 1.0 (you should check it out sometime :) ).
Right now we got a huge collab project as i said, with a flash crew who's making a flash about "forum wars", where me, monkey v, and everybody in thier flash crew all get into a huge argument and start a massive war between the users of the forum. Pretty cool huh? lol. Who knows, if you conribute enough, to the club and to the story for the flash crew you might even be in the collab :).
right now were short on writers for the collab, so im starting a contest specifically for those who aren't already working on the project. The person who wins will have the opportunity to join the red group (expert group) and if they want, even be included in this project. So all those who are already in red and black group, you wil not win anything for winning this, but you can still enter. If someone in those groups does win, it will skip down to the next person who doesn't have that rank. Good luck all

Todays contest: the genre is survival. try to make the best short story you can about survival. Remember, if you win, you'll be in the red group AND optionally be included into working with the collab with us.

Just a question. Which I probably should have asked earlier.

Is the Forum War thingie in a real context, or are the war sparkers merely browsing said forum?

well, I decided who is on who's side based on the abilities they had. I would like with the mania story to start with us finishing the warboard (in the story, not in real life yet) and for you guys to describe it surpassing newgrounds in popularity, and control of this board leads to a war between the sides. Dont describe the battle unless you are helping us to storyboard the collab. Contact me or Gungrounds with an action-packed story to show so one of us can see if you are detailed enough in writing your fights to make the script. I cannot animate much because I am visiting my relatives for a week, but here has a scanner so I can make some concept art for the collab.

I say, NOT ANYMORE!
The writers crew is for writers all out there who want to express themselves and strut their stuff with fellow writers. Win some writing contests, make some friends, and maybe even conduct a deal with a flasher to start building your writing career. Sure you may not ever become a Stephen King or E.B. White, but at least you have something to look back one day and say "I remember the day when i became famous on newgrounds for a while".
The writers crew is great for both expert writers and beginners, where you can learn the advanced and basic stradegy for writing story's from examining and exchanging ideas with other writers.
Not to mention the fact that the best writers will be invited to the exclusive group called "two black books" (the name has nothing to do with the bible). This group will work together to form stories for exclusive flash producers with top quality talent (such as qui games and tom thorton).
To join the Writers club simply post
How many years have you been writing:
How many flash story's you have written:
How many real life story's you have written:
And your name (optional):
Now to be in the writers club you must obey a few rules...
#1. No flaming
#2. No multiple accounts (in other words only one of your accounts per person can join)
#3. Swearing is okay once in a while but it is frowned upon.
#4. No plaguarism, use only your work or you will be banned from writers club (its okay to research other peoples stuff to try to make your stuff a bit better but don't actually steal their ideas)
#5. Don't make your buddy a good story so he can win a contest.
#6. And lastly, you can talk off topic, but please try to keep to the writing subject.
For those who are wondering contest's are a challenge posted on the forum by me or someone who has permission from me. They will base off whoever can make the best story about the contest genre and theme. Winners will be invited to the "2 black books" group.
Anybody can apply for the group, however, it is not certain that you will be accepted. Winning a contest however will guarantee a spot in the "2 black books" group.
Lastly of all, i will assign the most trustworthy members of the clan "second in command" positions to take my place if for some apparent reason i wont be online for a while.

Now remember,To join the Writers club simply post
How many years have you been writing:
How many flash story's you have written:
How many real life story's you have written:
And your name (optional):

Happy writing!

P.S. to all those who are wondering, yes i have written a story. I have made 6 storys for games, wrote a story for a rpg, and am currently writing a story in real life.

I really want to join the writers club. I have been writting my whole life, but haven't written any flash stories. Although I have written countless stories in real life. I am currently writting a story I wish to get published, so I don't want to reveal that just yet! For an example of my writting, this is a not so good; quickly written, but pretty decent scence from a story I wrote one night:

The cool water splashed against my face and I took a deep breath to release stress and prepare me for my upcoming battle against the Dark Brotherhood. The water mixed with my imagination as it poured down my sweet drenched face and onto my shoulders. As it trickled down it revealed a paradise of my family and I retired to Countura living in the lap of luxury in a fancy cottage with a maid and butler waiting on me hand and foot. Then I reopened my eyes to the uncomforting reality that had no resemblance to my dream. Then my General in his loud booming voice shouted me to get geared up and report for battle. As always the words poured from his lips perfectly enunciated. “How can he be so calm I wondered?” as I slammed on my helmet causing a mixture of the cool water and sweet to fly off and soak the bench of which I was sitting on. I firmly gripped my shield and stood ready for battle!
