Problem With Breaking Apart 2007-07-01 02:48:42 Reply

So, I got rid of the white background on the sprite sheet in Fireworks, but then, I break it apart in flash & theres a black background when I click on it. How do I remove that?

If you're thinking it, NO! I'm not the same person as that old black & white cartoon character.

You don't have to. That just shows where it's transparent. But if you really must, go on Modify>Shape>Trace bitmap, and change the fit to pixels. Then just click on the transparent/black part and just delete it. Hope that helps.

Thats what I tried before getting rid of it in fireworks. It take up too much memory in the Flash file.
