Sorry to burst your bubble; But... imagine what happened if alien life forms were imperically put into public eye.

America doesn't deserve a mass hysteria.

Yeah, it is some Air Force weaponry.

Look, there is no confiirmed alien presence ever found on Earth, or in that matter was there ever in the history of Earth. Not saying there aren't alien lifeforms, but they haven't touched down on our planet, as of now.

Well, Aliens are believed to have help build the pyramids. I read somewhere, sorry for no link, that they found drawings of ships and shit.
They think they lifted the brick things to make the pyramid.

If aliens were capable of space travel they would have to be incredibly unified and peacefull in they're own society.

Just to give you a basic reason why they would perhaps wan't to maintain secrecy from the general public.

Area 51 could be anything, maybe even the newest shit like a 10 TB hard drive, or even the next 3 consoles, or even jack shit. But, we may never know.

It's military research, and that means that no one in the public should know what it is. So let's all leave it, okay?

Why wouldn't the president be able to get onto the base, he/her is the commander and chief, he/her could order them to let them in and they would have to obay them.

According to inside sources, I believe it was 'Mr. X.' Area 51 is pretty much it's own government.
He said something about killing the president if he found what was truly in there. Or something like that.

Lolno. The President isn't allowed in simply because he agreed not to enter it; he signed a lil' piece of paper saying he agrees not to visit Nellis Air Force Base unless necessary. No one even knows if the current President agreed to his deal as well.

Area 51 does exist and with out a doubt there is an underground complex to conduct experiments only god knows what. I highly doubt it that they will shoot the president himself, heck some say that the commander-in-chief doesn't even know some of the things they do.

But that's so stupid. Basically, they go and run their own fucking government. For all we know they are having sex with women, raping the shit out of their butthole, and the president can't go and save them. I'm just kidding, but hopefully you get my point. They're in there doing whatever the fuck they want.

No, they don't. Nellis has the same rules, regulations, and command as any other base, and that extends to the Groom Lake Complex.

For all we know they are having sex with women, raping the shit out of their butthole, and the president can't go and save them. I'm just kidding, but hopefully you get my point.

And what IS your point? That, just like every single other military base in the U.S, and even the WORLD, some 15 year old kid from Ohio can't get access to whats going on? Your not important. Get over it.

They're in there doing whatever the fuck they want.
Government=Corrupt

You have an extremely skewed idea of how the Airforce works. like the other branches of our military, there are strict guidelines that must be followed by all Airforce personel, and almost all civilian laws apply to them.

You guys say that Area 51 is full of aliens and such due to the secret around the base and alien looking "crafts" found around and that would make it sound so much cooler, but couldn't it be something as simple as devolping weapons for war tactitcal uses? I mean we wouldn't want our enemies to know what we were devolping or they could somehow get their hands on the technology and have war upon us with our own weapons. Its so hard to keep any kind of secret information anymore due to the press, society, the internet and etc, so that is probably why they are so strict. Besides would we really want our current president know what was going on anyways? He would probably blurt everything out at a press conference trying to make a joke even though he is not funny.

The poster above me is correct.

The most widely accepted theory is that area 51 is where the government works on special types of aircraft. But if this theory is correct, it would obviously have to be extraordinary in design for the government to desire to keep it so secretive.

I'm curious, does the president [and i'm not talking about george bush exclusively, i'm talking about the hypathetical individual who becomes president] know about area 51, if not then i'm highly disturbed.

The one thing that always fascinates me is; the day that area 51's true purpose is discovered [if ever] will be the day when we discover whether or not the governments descision to keep it secret was to our benefit.
