Lucky, kind of a waste of money but I envy you. I saw a guy on the news that bought one for himself AND his wife.

iPhone is just a fad. I guarantee that when school is in session again after summer break, tons of people will have them. Then, a newer, better phone will come out, thus making everyone want that. I personally have a Razr (which 35 million people also have) and a laptop, so what's the need for a iPhone? My Vaio probably goes a whole helluva lot faster on teh Internetz.

It's a pretty fucking cool little device, like something out of a sci-fi movie and it's definitely living up to the hype.
$600 is $600 though... well, $650 with tax it turns out. Some lady told us we should spend all that money to buy food for poor people. I take it she was probably poor.

It's a big luxury item for sure, and no doubt pretty god damn wasteful on everyone's part who has one, but you know what? If you've got the money, then fuck it. Why not? Why go around hating on everyone because of it?

It's just the new popular thing, like the Razr was. Give it a few months, and people will be clamouring for the new phone.

Who needs a phone with internet when my computer can do that and far more.

My point exactly. I had gotten the Razr before everyone had it, then everyone was all "TEH RAZR IS TEH KEWLEST OMG!!!111!!". Then that Chocolate thing came out, everyone got that, then it's that phone with the flip out keyboard (Lg something?). Now the iPhone. Why does everyone need to try so hard to get the coolest thing? Just do what I did and buy a goddamn good and expensive laptop that no one will get.

I'm happy with my Qtec 8310.

The iPhone is probably great if you need the extra functions it supports, but most of the buyers will probably be trend whores who doesn't really need one anyway.
