There was a prior topic about this that hit close to home for one of our mods. At the time the facts were stil coming in and it wasn't clear that Chris Benoit was behind the death of himself, his wife, and his child. Now that it seems pretty clear that he was the murder he should be fair game for whatever silly photoshops you all want to make of him. The users that were banned for taking part in the original topic have had their bans lifted and they may resubmit their photoshops.

I really want to apologize to everybody who posted in that thread, or viewed that thread. In all honesty, I was doing what I thought was right for a segment of the site who, like myself, is grieving for this issue. But I now realize I was wrong, I made a decision based on my personal feelings and beliefs, and that's not good for this site, or for it's users. I hope that you will read this post and realize the sincerity I put behind this, when I got modded, I wanted to be the kind of mod that you guys could respect as always being fair, and being able to trust.
I definitely betrayed that trust last night because I didn't walk away from something I couldn't personally handle. I feel very bad about this, and I am ashamed of how I've let everyone down. I hope that it isn't going to discourage anybody from contacting me in the future about problems they have, and I hope that top to bottom everybody can forgive me this one indiscretion.
If you feel like contacting me about this issue, please PM me, as I'm not going to be checking or reading this thread because, obviously, I can't find the humor in the content within it. But do have fun guys.

Avie I did PM you, and I didn't get a reply. Rules are set in place to be obeyed as they are written, you can't throw in your personal shit in and pretend like they're rules. I thoroughly put my arguement about why I was banned into my PM and I am actually shocked that people were banned for that thread.
