But Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldren did, and they left this neat-o little reflector experiment that helps us to judge how much farther away the moon gets from the Earth every year. As an added bonus it's also difinitive proof that man has walked on the moon.
So no more of that nonsense, agreed?

Thats true. Some conspiracy people are insane, and others usualy want to sell something, so why not just completely deny everything that doesn't work for them.

What I find to be incredibly funny about the lunar landing conspiracy theory is that the landings have been proven. When I was an exchange student in Germany, our class went on a field trip an observatory in Monheim and they showed us pictures of when they used a really powerful telescope to see the moon. You could see the US flag on the moon.
It's there, I wonder how it got there if it was all staged in a Hollywood set....

So did they do this with their Jew Magic... or did they use their secret Jew space program?

no, no you've got it all wrong! those pictures were fake they didnt actually get those pictures from the telescope.
whats that you say? you looked yourself! AHAH thats just another trick, you see they put a picture in front of the lens and didnt let you move the telescope did they?
whats that you say? they did?! oh well thats easy to explain, you see they actualy have a massive projector that projects an image of a flag onto the moon silly!
if anyone thinks im being serious.. god help you

one of the major parts that the conspiracy people mention is the whole flag waving as they planted into the ground. They get on their (extremely low idiots) high horse and run around saying theres no wind on the moon. What the idiots don't understand is that there's very little friction on the moon and low gravity, so the flag would wave, and just keep waving. With that and the fact that one guy hit a golf ball on the moon, its pretty darn true that we got people there.

That conspiracy will never be fully solved, is it possible that it was staged? Yes. However one side will always rant about how it did happen, and the other about how it didn't happen. Some say it was just propaganda made so it looks like The US won the space race against the Soviet Union. If we are being technical here the soviets won the space race because they were, the first in space. There was no mutual agreement that whoever makes it to teh moon first wins, so I don't know it maybe propaganda or it maybe propaganda from the other side, to make US landing on the moon lool like propaganda.

No, it's not possible that it was staged. The reflection experiment provides irrefutable proof. Also other countries had satelites and monitoring equipment that watched our boys fly to the moon just like we did. If it was a hoax don't you think the Soviet Union would have spoken up.

The whole point to going to the moon is very parralel to 2 boys saying anything you can do i can do better.
2 economic systems, capitalism and communism; battling it out to see which economic system is capable of yeilding enough surplus to spend billions of dollars on in most respects scientifically useless endevers that require a great deal of money and technological skill.
The point was to see which 'faction' was more advanced

Wait you people actually believed that we landed on the moon?
Jeeze are you all dumb. Whats next, that the government didn't cause 9/11.

I actually consider sarcasm thats hard to see, more advanced. Sometimes I sound so serious and truthful that people actually think I am talking for real.

its not that it's more clever that it's hard to see, it's the fact there are actually people who say what Mortified said seriously.

In the end it doesn't matter. If you think that we never went to the moon you might as well believe the Earth is flat. It's insane nonsense.

Find me a picture of our flag on the moon. Do it.
And did you even read it? And you want more?
It really is a good thing you opened your mouth. Cause you look so smart now.

Besides, if you don't believe Demosthenez's sites, make a rough guess yourself.
Angular resolution = wavelength / diameter
If we approximate the flag to be 1.25 m high, and the telescope looking perpendicularily at it (in reality this won't be the case and the flag will appear even smaller), and with the earth-moon distance of 385000 km and a wavelength of approximately 500 nm we get:
R = 500*10^(-9)/D and R = arctan(1.25 / 385000000)
solve for D: A diameter of at least 154 m is required, in the theoretical "best case" scenario. But that's with a single dish.
With an interferometer array you can work with smaller dishes, but you need a HUGE array to achieve a resolution in the order of microradians...

There is speculation that it was staged, there is PROOF that it was not.
