I believe in the possibility of aliens, but until I actually see one, then no, I don't believe in them.
Yes I do. I just realized this year while learning about space that there must be some form of life outside of Earth because the universe is huge and some kind of race feeds on us and wears our bikini tops.

I do.
Aliens is just another word for outsider, so yes, aliens do exist. An example is bacteria.
Unless of course you're referring to highly-intelligent creatures that have bulging heads. No they don't exist.
I believe in aliens, but i don't believe in them invading earth or any crap like that

Unless somehow bacteria would survive the trip through space and have a random genetic mutation.
My psychologist said I shouldn't believe in them anymore.
There's bound to be life out there somewhere, just because of the vastness of space. I don't believe the things people claim to be aliens, lights in the sky and all that, are real, though.
So yeah, I reckon there's something other than us, even if it's just bacteria, but I don't believe we've ever been in contact with it.
I'm not sure if there is another life form out there but
If there I think their smart enough to stay away from us...

Damn, I was gonna' make a thread like this today, and was too feverish to.
I think the aliens have granted me telepathy.
It's rather likely that there is life beyond Earth, in the form of single-celled organisms, but I'm not sure about more complex forms and....hang on a second, how did we evolve from bacteria? Bacteria reproduce by copying themselves, so the DNA of the offspring is the same as its parent, so how would the species change over time? And how did sexual reproduction develop in the first place?

Nice one, smart-ass. How about you make another racist joke and we'll all applaud at your stupidity?
A-ha.
Do you really think that we are the ONLY form of intelligent life in the whole infinite Universe?
Come on...

Do bacteria have brains? I wonder... they could be the next smash-hit in "Are you smarter than a fifth-grader?"
I do. I need to believe in something, you know.

I do. The probability of a sun and planet being the same distance apart as earth is slim, but not impossible.
Also, my dad has seen a UFO above his neighbor's house as a kid and I Believe him.
They have to exist. The universe is infinitely huge, and still expanding, so I can't see how we're the only life forms within the universe.

A UFO is a Unidentified Flying Object. It doesn't neccessarily mean an Alien Spaceship, but it is typically implied as one. It can mean a flying object that is not identified, or something that you can make out right away. In other words, it could've been a bird but he couldn't see it as well, so he couldn't tell, and thus, it's a UFO.
My mother says she saw one and that it had a lot of pretty lights and it was going really fast.

She probably was drunk..
i think half of the people here are saying yes to be funny or something.
i say no, but i do believe there is some life there
If you dont think you're awesome, then you fucking suck!
I do believe that some of the UFO reports that have come up in the years are true. I have seen instances where UFO's were spotted my hundreds of people at once. Most of course are hoaxes but everyone once in a while you might get one that is legitimate.
The fact that life exists somewhere in the universe is pretty much true. The universe is so vast that there has to be another habitable planet somewhere.

The law of probability suggest that their should be some form of life in the Universe.
It would be too much of a coincidence if earth was the only planet with life. So i believe in aliens, i don't believe in the UFO reports crap though, those come from ppl with attention problems.
At 6/29/07 09:26 AM, simple-but-sandy wrote: There is obviously other life in the universe, as it is statistically impossilbe for it to be otherwise considering the size of the universe.
Bingo.
The idea that Earth is the only inhabited planet in the hundreds of thousands in the universe is just illogical.
It would be illogical to assume there weren't any aliens. If our chemistry is universal, meaning that all life-forms are carbon based, then there must be another planet, somewhere, with ideal conditions like Earth.
